  1. Really nice! I can't remember who "showed" this in the past week or so, but I think it's a cool project. May I ask where you got the plans? Being as I am a clown and I actually performed in the circus, (albeit a very very short time)I thought it would be cool to make.
  2. Wow! That is a really really nice piece.
  3. I dare ya, in fact I double dog dare ya (big big smile). That would be would be quite the challenge.

  7. It's been a lot of fun seeing what everyone has done. This is my first project of the year. It is a wedding present for my nephew. A Steve Goode pattern. Walnut with two coats of tung oil. A while back I started making clocks for all nieces and nephews who are getting married.

  9. That is just amazing. So cool. As one who dropped everything I was doing just to play Nintendo, it brings back lots of memories. Now where did I put my Nintendo..... Hmmmm
  10. Sure is beautiful
  11. Nope , this is Osage, a small town in north central Minnesota. (The picture that says, Eat here, get gas & worms). Population 150? We vacation on Straight Lake, just a stones throw from Osage. Name of the place is Osage Bait and Taclke. Good burgers and cold beer. Picture credit goes to Karl, who posted the picture 11/21 in Coffee House, under Signs. Sorry Jim, I couldn't resist.
  12. Wow! That is amazing, AND very impressive.
  13. I couldn't agree more!
  14. Yep, I gave it a try. I had a blast making my clock. Unfortunately, it doesn't work, bummer. But, it's still cool looking. I know Scrappile made the same clock I did. Not sure where he is at on that.
  15. Lookin' good! Nice job!

  17. Fantastic job!
  18. Pegas modified geometry #5
  19. it depends on what I'm doing. If its compound cutting, I use the blue tape. With delicate fretwork, I apply the pattern direct with 3M77, and clean that up with MS. Other times I use white shelf paper. I don't care for the clear shelf paper, It's hard for me to see when it comes time to removing it.
  20. Nice job. Very nice of you to do that in honor of him.
  21. Those are really cool!
  22. I have the Fein also. i mount mine to the underside of my Excalibur table. I use a two hole 1 1/2" strap for copper tubing. Might be 1 1/4". I use the the threaded holes that are already in the table.
  23. Interesting! I'll have to try that. How do you deal with evaporation?
  24. Wow!
