I break more Pegas blades than FD. But they seem to break at the time I am thinking I need to change the blade because I am having a harder time controlling it do to wear.. Seems to me have a tendency to snap when worn, where as other blades do not... May just be my imagination. Never worried about it, I get my use out of them...
I checked in the "Suppliers" and I it appeared to list only the two mentioned here.. I guess some of the other I recognize as pattern suppliers also sell supplies. But it is not very complete.. Isn't there a Heritage Wood: https://www.heritagewood.com and darn, can't think of the other I had in my head a few minutes ago....He sells online and I think in some hobby shops.. Anyway.. The ones mentioned are who I usually buy from... Never been disappointed.. I have found with Ocooch wood I have to be sure I stack it properly and let it climatize a couple weeks before I use it... Not their fault, just a difference in climate from them to me.. I just plan ahead for it.
I came back to say,, I really didn't mean to be crass here.. I really feel bad for the death of a fellow scroller... I do wonder why every Nov/Dec holiday season there seems to so many death... I attended a funeral of a longtime friend of my wife's...today. My Wife's brother and my close friend since high school passed away on the 10th this month... Seems like when this time of the year rolls around,, this happens..
My sincere condolences to Ben's family...
Oh ya.,, the 1966 Ford PU.... My favorite pickup of all I owned in my life..... Awesome job!!! I might add, I now have a 2007 GMC Duramax Diesel 3/4 ton.. only 77K miles on it... I would love to trade it for a 1966 Ford F100 with a 352 engine... good shape... I'd trade straight across it it was the right one.
Hummm like I said, Dick, The thing I remember most of Tombstone was the "Bucket of Blood" saloon.... You need to check it out next time... wait for me,,, we can raise a few....
Tried to research it and maybe it is not there anymore... maybe it never was... you know my old mind.... Not so good anymore..
Sorry to read this... Doesn't look like he was very old, according to his profile he would have been only 56. Seems like there are more deaths in during the November/ December holiday times... My wife's brother passed away Nov. 10.
May Scrollsaw703 (Brad), rest in pease...
Ray, I have a Jet JDP -17DX Drill Press. The chuck closes all the way. The only info on the chuck itself says "1 - 16mm JT3". Here is the manual for the DP. It has a Parts list in it, don't know how much info it gives.. I haven't got time to research it right now, I am just taking a break from trying to repair my clothes washer... Don't know what the heck I am doing, but I am giving it a try...
