  1. He is right, I use to store mine in the refig, when I had larger quantities. I had forgotten that.
  2. Nice pattern. I agree, if I had done it the nativity would have been the center layer. But it still looks very nice as is.
  3. Another way to clear the nozzle is to squeeze the container when it is upright, you can hear the air come out and go back in when you release the pressure on the container. Do not look down the little hole when you do it! I squeeze several times and let it suck the CA in the nozzle back into the bottle. I agree, unless you are going to use a lot, get it in small portions. When I was doing pens, I bought the larger quantities, but for occasional use I buy small. I get mine locally at Hobby Town USA. It is rebranded under their name. They do not make it. Normally I buy medium thickness.
  4. The Hegner has bushings and the manual says to put a few drops of oil (light oil like 3 in 1) on them periodically. I do.
  5. Some I have have the very top cut like that, but I have not run across any yet that have the notch cut into it.
  6. I use to have CT pain, never bad enough for surgery, but it finally went away and now Arthur has move in.. He is taking over my old body!!!
  7. Great job! Do you remember where the pattern came from? Ah, never mind, I can not buy any more patterns..... Oh that was too easy, I do see the WTB has it and another one similar. I like them both, I will not buy, I will not buy......
  8. Great idea and well executed.
  9. Looks good both ways, burnt and non-burnt. Nice job. There are a few of this I would like to cut. This is one of them.
  10. I have some of the blades with the funny cut ends. I always grind the ends of all my blades to a point before using them (bottom feeder, helps get them started in the holes), so I have not noticed a problem with the length of these blades even in my Hegner. It is length sensitive I would think, maybe not a sensitive as a Hawk.
  11. That really looks nice.
  12. Very nice work, Neal. I bet a lot of the younger kids don't know what letter openers are these days.
  13. https://www.stevedgood.com/catalog/index.php page three, bottom right corner.
  14. I love cows. Nice cutting.
  15. @GPscroller I hope you are proud, Jeff, you made me break my New Year's Resolution before I even got to make it!!! I ended up with three new patterns in all. Two from Charles Hand, that I remembered I wanted. I always say if you are going to fail on a New Year resolution, fail big! Okay, from now on,,, no more Patterns!!
  16. What a cutie!
  17. You have a great heart,,,there. Well done.

    Hungry?

Yep, great movie and great cutting.
  19. Nothing to agree or disagree about. I am very conservative on what I can spend. I would pay for the wood that I could build a clock with, something that can be passed on to family, but something like these 3D patterns, would be fun to do, but not a priority to me. I posted the link because I know there are those that would enjoy doing them and I enjoy seeing them when the post pictures. I certainly look forward to seeing the one you want to do.
  20. Nice cutting, Dick. That is a pretty piece of wood. So nice to talk with you today. Thanks for calling.
  21. I do like that. Well done!
  22. It takes a lot of wood to make one of these types of patterns, several layers...
  23. I love these patterns, but, they just take up too much of my precious wood to do one.....
  24. I was on Charles Hand's site looking at another pattern I don't want to buy..... and came across these "3D" patterns of his that I had not seen before. They are like the ones Alex Fox does. Thought some that do those would like to have a look. https://scrollsawart4u.weebly.com/specialty-patterns.html
