I have never been successful with top feeding and don't even care anymore. Feeding a 3/0 spiral blade down through a hole drilled with a #70 bit,,, means your are going against the teeth which makes it very easy to bend the blade. I have said this before, but I find for bottom feeding grinding the top of the blade to a sharp point really helps also. I have a grinder near my saw and it takes a second or two to do. I do it on all my blades.

I have not been a fan of the torch normally (just personal opinion) but I do like the look in this case. Nice job!

I prefer the plain one.

I have a Hegner and personally have no problem with their stand design. Maybe because I am not long legged or something. I never notice the stand being in the way.

Really nice, Dick. You are always several steps ahead of me. I like that bowl so well I bought three of his bowl patterns. Thought I would do them in order of my reprieved difficulty. This one the most difficult. I haven't got to any of them yet. -
