  7. Very well done.
  8. Nice job!
  9. One of the reasons I stopped using my Dust Deputy (DD) is I mounted it on a 5 gallon bucket. The lid to the bucket is a bear to get off and my old hands make it even worse as I get older. I've been looking for ways to make a lid that would be easy to remove.
  10. WELCOME! Glad to have you join us.
  11. Nice work. These seem to be popular on different forums. What is the diameter of it?
  12. That is flat out awesome!
  13. I like it, great job.
  14. Very nice work. Is the pattern for the horses available somewhere?
  15. I built little rolling platforms, like pictured, for several of my tools. I think I got the plans from wood magazine site years ago. I really like them and plan on building another for my band saw. You can lock in place just by rotating the lever on the front 180 degrees with you foot. Unlock to move the tool the same way. Easy, inexpensive to build. This on is for my router table. The cabinet next to it has my Seyco mounted on it. I have casters under it but I have to get down on my knee to lock them. I plan on building one of the platforms for it also. The drill press is hard. It is so top heavy, I am afraid to put it on something. I wish I had bought a bench top model so I could mount it on a cabinet. I guess some day I can cut the post off and make it a bench top.
  16. Good deal. I like trading also.
  17. I do the glue up one often. I get cherry, maple, and a few other woods from a guy on Ebay. He sell like 20-30 boards in a box. He sells 1/2", 1/4" thickness, the pieces are 12" long and you can get in different widths usually from 2 1/2" - 4". I have always received good wood from him. Goo service. Various prices depending species thickness and width requested. I have always paid less than $45 with free shipping. Very sorry for your loss of your friend. Unfortunately, the older we all get, the more frequently it occurs.
  18. Really a neat scene, Well done!
  19. Rolf, depending where the hole is located and how big the hole is relative to the blade I'm using, it takes me around 18 seconds or less to go from one hole to the next. I know this because the vac shuts off 15 seconds after the saw is turned off. I usually get in the next hole and start cutting before the vac shuts down. But when in the middle of the picture feeding a small blade through a #68 or #70 hole, the vac shuts down before I get started again. Also, most of the noise I hear comes for the nozzle opening, on the Loc-Line, the sound of air sucking.
  20. And yet, most the advice here says take apart re-lube the bearings, if I read it right, even on a new saw?
  21. What I really want to know, how does a town get to be called Bellbuckle?! That has to be an interesting story.
  22. We have a great deal in common.
  23. Golly, I always learn something new here. This is the first time I have read about this method. Seems like it would require more clean up, but I am not sure. Thanks for the info.
  24. Very well done.
  25. Good place to do business: http://www.dndsawbladesonline.com/
