  1. I just went to Mike's, no problem, no warning message Went to Wooden Teddy Bear looked at FD UR #5 at gross pricing 12 x $2.80 - $33.60. WTB is a little confusing and you were looking at price per dozen they are $3.50 per doz. if you buy 1 - 11 doz $3.50 X 12 = $42 If you look below where you went to order per doz it will have same heading except it say "gross pricing" or something like that, that is where you will see $2.80 per doz pricing. I think WTB could make there way of ordering somewhat less confusing, they could just copy Mike's Workshop method, they own it. If you ask how I know this, I went through the same thing last time I ordered blades. Wanted to buy from WTB because I thought Mike's would probably be discontinued after a while. Figured the price as you did and wondered, why would anyone buy from WTB when I could get them from Mike's so much cheaper, and even more confusing why would WTB let Mike's be so much cheaper, when they own both sites? Then I went back to WTB's site to recheck the price and figured out how they do it on the WTB site the second time I was there.
  2. That is just awesome cut and well done.
  3. Well they are certainly nice ans very well done, BUT,,, I don't see a Seahawks one.
  4. Some very nice stuff, you have been busy!
  5. I know nothing about them and there is little info in the section on this forum that critics scroll saws. What I saw on their site would make me a little dubious about their blade holders, they just appeared weak to me, but I really don't know, not having seen one personally. As for PC boards frying, it does happen, but rarely in my opinion, but again only my opinion. As for belt changing, it wouldn't be a problem for me. I had a lathe that required belt changes and I never minded it. Others certainly would disagree with me on that. Five speed being adequate,,, depends on what the speeds are. I know I change speeds often when I am scrolling. It also depends on what you get use to and if the five speeds is what a person gets use to I think it would be fine. Sorry I can't be much help. I'm anxious to see what the responses are. I'd like to learn more about them.
  6. Very good use of it. Well done.
  7. Great build, and welcome to the forum. Did you have plans or is that your own creation. Very interesting.
  8. Nice work!
  9. Thanks, Joe I was wondering that.
  10. Another Charles Dearing pattern. It is 1/4" BB. I used several different blades, kind of experimenting to see how different blades work for me on the Hegner.
  11. I think you did a great job on that!
  12. That is some fine cutting. Not being very hip, I'm not sure who he is, but you cut him great. The face in the younger version is only held in place in one little spot. That must have been scary to cut. Well done.
  13. I am not into movies or actors much, but one came along that I really enjoy over and over. I read the book, loved it. Then the TV series came out. I wasn't too excited about the series because they never really go by the book. This was an exception. They went by the book page, by page and the actors they selected could not have been more perfect in my opinion. I have watch the series I don't know how many times, and reread the book twice. Doing this picture, made me start watching the series again.... so LONESOME DOVE thank you Robert Devull (who himself said it was a role of a lifetime) and Tommy Lee Jones.
  14. Okay Dick, so you exaggerate somewhat, but yep it was fun. Certainly hope it will happen again and again. We can get your daughter involved next time. It would be great fun. Thanks again for coming.
  15. Great job!
  16. Beautifully done on all of them.
  17. Great job, Dick.
  18. Did it come with a manual? There are some things I had to read the manual to find out, for instance, the top clamp should wiggle a little when in place. The thumb screw should not be screwed down tight. Looks to be in good shape, I think you got a great score. Happy scrolling.
  19. Have you tried ereplacementparts.com?
  20. That is beautiful! I just ordered the plans for a clock, not going to be nearly as impressive as that.
  21. Deserve to be proud. I'd be proud also. Very nice.
  22. You certainly did that up nice. I love the blue background. Great choice.
  23. Beautiful cuttings.
  24. That is a great cutting. I am saying even though I am probably one of the 10 people in the world that never liked the Beatles as a group, liked some of the songs they wrote but not them singing ...... I know every one hates me. But to make it worse for me I never liked the Beach Boys either.... I liked Elvis... when he was young.
  25. Some pretty wood, yep, nice score. How thick? Can't wait to see what you make with it.
