He lives in Spain and does the pattern restore or enhance thing, on the computer. Check his free patterns here. http://www.finescrollsaw.com/freepatterns.htm I have bought several of his patterns and had several email conversations with him. A very nice and helpful gentleman to deal with. Might be worth a try to email him.

Going to be a beautiful piece. I've gone to use larger blades in larger areas sometimes, just so I won't break so many blades. So far I have not found one that I am as comfortable with as I am with the 3/0. I do like to use a 1/16" bit to drill holes in the areas large enough for it to fit. I lose a lot of the 3/0 blades threading them through the small holes. So easy to bend one and once bent they are not going to last much longer. -

I have to admit it is on my mind a lot. But maybe I am closer to a pattern addict. I keep telling myself enough is enough, then I see another pattern I like and I can't stop myself. Just received two new ones in the mail yesterday. I will not live long enough to do half of them.

I think personal preference it the best alternative. Somethings you might give consideration of are, I found I like a stool, with no arms. Stool because it is height adjustible, back can be adjusted in both height and forward and backward. Important to me because of back problems. I tried one with arms and they got in my way. The stool I ended up with was a little expensive, but I think it was money well spent. Helps me to be able to sit longer and enjoy the hobby. The only problem with mine is, right now it rolls too easily. I will correct this with a matt on the floor. I have one, when it dries it will go back in front of my station. The set is not fabric, not sure what it is called, but it is comfortable, and very easy to clean. I ordered it through Global Industrial.

You are correct. Buying ink is like buying a new battery for a cordless tool. For a few bucks more you can buy a new tool with new batteries. If you watch sells you can get a good new printer for the cost of replacement ink.

Congratulations on the saw. You will love it. I read once where a scroller that liked to stand while scrolling, fixed the foot switch where he could operate it with his knee. That would be awkward to me but maybe not. Might be worth a try.

Be interesting to know what that does to correct the problem. I know you move the motor to adjust the forward/back movement of the blade. It talk about that in the owner's manual. But it doesn't describe returning the motor to the original position. Anyway it is an easy enough thing to try and if it helps, great. I think I will give it a try.
