  4. Wonderful pattern, even a "wonderful-er" job cutting and finishing it.
  5. Very glad you have you join us.
  6. I use spiral blades 95% of my scrolling because most my scrolling is detailed pictures in up to 1/2" wood. They are great for this and I would argue the best way to cut detailed portraits. However, there are many types of scrolling and I do not think they would be the blade of choice for something like thick wood. Three dementional scrolling. Just my opinion.
  7. I try to remember to release, but don't alway remember. I am old.
  8. Forstner bits are expensive especially in the larger sizes. Anyone use a circle cutter simiuar to this type? It is adjustable for various size clock inserts. I use to have one, not this one, but same principal and it worked pretty well.
  9. Very nice!

  15. The Hegner has an adjustment that you can use. I read about it in my instruction book but don't remember much about it. I am not aware of one for the Ex.
  16. There is quite a bit of discussion of them on the "Family Woodworking Forum" also. So much so they started a whole new section related to them. http://familywoodworking.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?64-Computer-Aided-Equipment-Area
  17. Welcome from S.E. Washington (close to the Tri-Cities). Nice to have a neighbor join up. The owner of this forum is in Vancouver, WA., a member in Heppner, Or. and I think one or two in Portland. Maybe someday we will have enough for a N. W. gathering.
