  1. Great job, Dick. Be careful, many more cuts of this type and you will find the spiral will become your go to blade. At least for the more detail portrait work.
  2. That's great Dick. Shows how good your work is.
  3. Is it one that should not be cut? I mean, if it was posted many may have downloaded it before the owner mentioned it. Do we need to know to delete it from out personal libraries of downloaded patterns?
  4. Great scrolling of a great subject!
  5. VERY nice, Steve. Well cut and finished. Almost put me in the Christmas spirit!
  6. Congratulations! Lots of very beautiful items to sell, well displayed and well made, great combo for success.
  7. Great sleigh. I would have enlarged it to 14", hold more candy! You did a very nice job with it.
  8. You are the harding working person I know of Kevin. Do you ever rest? Lotta nice cutting.
  9. That is very well done. Great scrolling.
  10. I have no suggestions on the wobble, but wanted to say welcome and that is some nice clean cutting you have done.
  11. Good luck!
  12. There was a thread recently on the blade change subject: http://www.scrollsawvillage.com/topic/16533-blade-changes-how-often/ Difficult question to answer, many varibles. Experience is the best teacher, I would say.
  13. There is some great scrolling. I'd like to know where the "tiger swallowtail" pattern came from. Searched all over the internet, but no joy yet.
  14. Nice looking lamp. There are lots of Youtube videos on how to cut a glass bottle with string and fire. It works, my Grandson and I did it once just to see if it did.
  15. Superb work on those!
  16. This is how I do it. I did get a batch that I had a porblem with, the end kept bending when I tightened the bottom clamp. I thought it was me and guess it could have been, but I had not had that porblem before nor after that one batch of blades.
  17. Super piece of art!
  18. Good one, Dick. You are right it is nice to give like that. Makes it all worth while.
  19. I have had my Ex for about 2 years have not changed it yet. Seems to be holding up fine. I put a little vaseoline on it from time to time. Seem like I read to do that some where. I bought a spare right after I bought my saw because I thought it looked like something that would wear out. But not yet. You might call Seyco and ask the question. I have always found them eager to help and advise.
  20. Very nice. Made of paper, huh? They should be very popular.
  21. Great portraits. Yes that old man shows a lot of character.
  22. Well done!
  23. That is a great piece. Are this patterns Volker Arnold's scrollsaw patterns? I keep looking a purchasing a couple of his books.
  24. That is a very nice one. I really like these types of things and hope to give them a try sometime.
  25. Steve is correct in my opinion. I think it is good you bought an intro pack, practice with the different blades to find the kind that suits you best. In time you will get a feel for when the blade is getting dull. Do not be afraid to change blades if you feel it is getting dull. Blades are pretty cheap.
