  1. Welcome to the Village.
  2. Welcome to the Village. Sounds like you have a good plan. I look forward to seeing some results.
  3. Welcome to the forum! I use to have a DeWalt. I bought it as a "refurbished" one for around $330. I had no problems with it. You can also pick up a good buy on Craigslist sometimes. Just be sure to look it over good and try it before purchase, if you go that route. If buying new, I have read good things about the Delta, it is a twin to the DeWalt, but a little cheaper.
  4. Welcome to the forum. Glad to have you join us. My son moved to Germantown, Tenn, a couple months ago, and he is loving it there. Says there are some of the nicest people he has come across.
  5. That is FINE! Great job.
  6. Beautifully done, Jim. I love the old mill ones. I have one in my stack of patterns but have not had the nerve to try it yet. Looks very fragile.

    Hello

Welcome to the forum. select the pattern you want left click on it when if displays, right click on it click on the size you want to save when it displays again in the size you selected right click on it select "save image as" and send it to where you want it saved. That is how I do it, may be other ways.
  8. Cool pattern and you did a great job cutting it.
  9. Very well done!
  10. Very nice. Next year I hope to get serious about some ornament cutting. At least I want to try somethings different from the picture cutting.

  18. Very "Christmasie!"
  19. Nice cutting. How large is it?
  20. I love you cuttings. Great stuff.
  21. Jamminjack, I took it all in fun, that is why I added the smiley face to my first reply. No need to apologize, at least not to me. But thanks for offering. I feel we are entitled to have opinions, and a right to express them. One problem with forum posts is sometimes it is hard to know someone intents or meaning when you can't hear voice inflections or see facial expressions. So I take it all with a grain of salt. We are all good friends here. An Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too, thank you.
  22. "spirals are for people who don't know how to use flat blades...... If you want a wide cut, lots of fuzzys, nothing that is truly detailed, than spirals are for you..." That is what I saw. I can use both, but do better with spirals. I took no offense, you are entitled. Please do not think I did. I am one of those that does not really care what others think. No reason why I should. Just keep scrolling, I admire your work.
  23. Hummm, so you are saying the portraits Mike Wix, Scrolling Steve, Charles Dearing, myself, etc. cut are not detailed? Could have fooled me.
  24. eReplacementParts doesn'e carry Excalibur parts, I don't think.
  25. Welcome to the Village. I am sure you will enjoy it here.
