  1. Thanks, that worked. I knew I was getting close. I will probably have to ask again next year.
  2. Welcome, Mike. So glad you joined us. I think you will like it here.
  3. Travis, how does a person find out when the annual donation is due? I've been searching and found nothing. Is there notification or something?
  4. For bottom feeding detailed picture scrolling I use a hemostat to help feed the #3/0 blade into the tiny #65 hole and to pull it through from the top. My hemostats become magnetized often. I put heat shrink tubing over the jaws to prevent the magnetism from grabbing the blade where I did want to grab it. Worked great.
  5. I sit. I have my Excalibur mounted on a stand I built from a discarded cabinet I got for free. I straddle it sorta. It has worked out great for me. It is a little below chest high when I am sitting.
  6. Looks like a nice one. I rarely use my band saw because I HATE to have to change blades on it and of course the one I need for the current project is never the one on it. I used it a lot when I was into pen making and other lathe work. Also when I made toys. Not so much for the type scrolling I do.
  7. It is an interesting subject. Like Spirithorse wrote, Charles Dearing sell in several places including a personal website. He also belongs to a lot of scroll saw forums which helps him get known by scrollers. If I were to sell work or patterns, I would try the personal web site route, if I could do it for free or very cheap. The way I find patterns is through internet search. It brings up mostly websites. Add me to the list of those wanting to have the address of wherever you post them
  8. Great scrolling. Really enjoyed looking at all of them.
  9. I do it as Don does and it works for me. I placed an order last Sunday, received yesterday. Great service. Now don't do as I did, forgot I wanted more drill bits also. Now I need to place another order!
  10. You certainly did a beautiful job on that beautiful pattern.
  11. Very nice job. I do not make mistakes when scrolling, I make "pattern modifications".
  12. I love those. Very nice work.
  13. Nicely done.
  14. Very well done picture of one of the most beautiful animals on planet Earth.
  15. WOW, never have seen a Corian one before. That is very pretty and unique.
  16. Really neat. Great job.
  17. Now that is some delicate cutting. Very well done!
  18. Very, very well done. Like you, I have, somewhere on my computer, the instructions on how to do these, but have never gotten around to giving it a try. My wife reminds me every once in a while, because she really wants me to make one. Hope to try it this year.
  19. Those are great. Very nice.
  20. Good idea. My wife loads, I empty. I never empty until she starts nagging me. This would eliminate the nagging... nahh, it would just be something else...
  21. Very nice.
  22. Beautiful, Dick. Great job.
  23. Great job. Those little guys are really cute. Those bananas are too ripe for me
  24. I agree with Rusty.
  25. Very nice cutting. I waffle on the frame, not bad, but distracts from the cutting... I wonder how it would like with some kind of solid background in the frame. A darker color than the frame which may make the leaf stand out more... I don't know really, I am not good at that sort of thing.
