  1. Your work is always very beautiful!
  2. Thanks Marie, You know I have used the scoring method in the past and it really worked well...Never even thought about on the cutting when I needed it most... ! Where you with the reminder three months ago?! I bought a used mower. Only 40 hours on it. Looks good but I probably got took. I have not used it yet, want to do a 50 hour tune up on it first.
  3. Seems to me that would be ideal for intarsia artists, moving the dust collection to each different sanding device.
  4. Darn another organized guy to make me feel stupid and guilty!! You are "Bad",, "Bob"!
  5. Those are real pretty! Must try sometime.
  6. Really a beautiful piece of art!
  7. Thanks for all the pictures and it really enforces my first WOW! So it is WOW, WOW from me.. A lot of skilled work for sure. Makes me want to but I don't think I have the skills or patients anymore.
  8. I finally completed this project. I took me the longest of any project I have tried in my years of scrolling. Took two tries. I wanted to make a picture of a modern diesel train engine for my nephew-in-law that is a conductor. I could not find a pattern of one. Talking to @munzieb one time I mentioned it to him, he told to send him a picture of what you want and he would make a pattern. And he did, a real detailed pattern. A beautiful pattern.. I worked on it, gave up once, then decided to try again. I worked on this over a period of 4 or 5 months. Bernd Would call every once in a while to see how I was doing. I told him I was about to give up. I just could not scroll like I use to. He said he would give it a try. Two weeks latter he sends me his completed scrolled picture of it! So the challenge was thrown down. I had to quit whining and keep cutting. Finally got there. Many, many thanks to Bernd for the coaching and encouragement. Would never have finished it without it. I still have to frame it. The first picture is mine, the second is the one he cut and sent to me. His was even more difficult than mine, his was a little smaller.
  9. Beautiful scene! I like the sectioned pictures.
  10. You can see from the date of the first post this discussion has been going on since before I have started scrolling. Some things are marked as saying so or watermarked. The thing that makes it even harder is copyright seem to be much more important or monitored from one country to another. So who knows. I do not worry nor so I have to. I do not sell. Mainly because I can't even give away what I make.
  11. I go glassless mainly because I suck at cutting glass!
  12. WOW! for sure. Tons of detail. I have made a few models, not that detained, but yes they take a lot of patience and dedication. I do not understand how you made that grill.
  13. That is a beauty Bernd! Really a nice cutting.
  14. I'd be interested to find out how you do that beautiful work.
  15. I have the same results I think part of it is the poor quality of the BB we get now days. Did you sand it before you cut the piece. That helps some, I find.
  16. All are great pictures. I love the color accents on the dog pictures. Great pieces.
  17. Great job and great imagination.
  18. like said you will never get it all,, Make yourself a lap apron.
  19. Nice!
  20. Very well cut and certainly nothing wrong with that veining. Something you might try sometime on a practice piece. When I do veining, I first cut with a small size straight blade, then I go back over the cut with as small spiral blade to widen the kerf some. The spiral will follow the first cut, and you can sorta file some of the wavers out with thee spiral blade.
  21. Hummm a place to hold the Whiskey! I like it!
  22. Nice setup! I really like the idea of the cart for the saw. Gives some use to what is normally wasted space provided by a saw stand.
  23. Very nicely done, Dick!
  24. That is great!
