  1. That is a loc-line product. You might contact them here and ask. I have purchased directly from them before: https://www.loc-line.com
  2. Beautiful cutting, Dick.. I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child. Two would just be unbearable.
  3. An amazing job, and thanks for the pattern.
  4. Looking at his thread again I came up with a good idea. My kids and grandkids have always told me about the big bond fire they are going to have to get rid of all the things I have made that no one wants. I think I will come up with the ugliest thing I can find, make one for each package it up with a do not open until after I am in the ground... there will be a note with the ugly project that says if they do not hang it on a wall and leave it there forever I will come back and make their lives miserable. Hide thing on them move things around in their homes you know to the haunted house thing on each of them.. This is going to be fun!
  5. Now that is a very neat build.. I bet those would be great sellers if you were a seller.
  6. Some great looking trucks. I have got to make some more models after I complete all the other projects I have started. What do you do with all your cars and trucks?
  7. I spray my pattern with 3M 77. wait about 1 minute + a little and them apply it to to the wood.. After that it may be minutes to days before I start drilling and cutting. I think once the pattern is applied to the wood, the rest of the time is unimportant. I remove the pattern by applying Mineral Spirits to it no matter how long it has sit...
  8. I use BB Plywood for several reasons I have read does not live up to the standard it use to. Huge fires in the area it originally came from, difficulty in shipping are a couple reasons I have read about. What I have purchased in the past year is not what it use to be. And what I can purchase locally,, I just pass on. Maybe it is just something we have to learn to live with.. like so many other lesses we have to learn to live with. Not the fault of the vendor I have purchased from...I do not even bother looking locally.
  9. That is our world now.. We need to quit expecting excellence, as we use to, in todays world.. To me very sad. Technology has gotten better, but expectations on what is expectable by us the people is declining.. Delete if necessary. I am getting old and cranky and do not like the way things are going.

  11. That is a good one! And to me. turning 80 is short order. A good subject. I have no idea what my kids/grandkids will have or care to have for remembering me. I have several boxes of projects but who knows if or what any of them will want. And really, does it matter as long as they remember me and say "he" /me was a wood worker? Maybe if I am lucky they will throw in " He was a good woodworker. I will smile from wherever I am!

Welcome to the forum. Looks like a fun hobby you have.. With a scroll saw you should be able to make your own fishing lures.
  13. Another great picture.
  14. I would not even enter. On a trip once when my grandson went with us, I taught him how to play chess. He beat me every time. I think he was watching me and thinking I must have be trying to teach him how not to play chess.
  15. Great cutting Dick! That is a hard one to not want to cut.
  16. I just ordered 3 gross from Denny a half hour ago. Skip is my favorite Pegas blade.
  17. That is a great one Dick. There is a very popular picture of a long haired steer, that I seen hanging on many walls when lookng a pictures of homes for sale. In fact my daughter has the picture hanging in her home above one of the fireplaces. Your neighbor is going to love this one.
  18. Welcome to the best scroll saw forum on the internet. Do not believe everything I suggest. No body else does,,, but I will give my opinion... anyway.
  19. That is beautiful... I feel it. I am turning 80 early next month. I have been telling family. It is scary, this is the decade most do not make it to the end of. Not sad to me. I have lived in the very best of times'. My biggest regret is I am not leaving the my kids/grandkids in a better world than what I experienced. Every generation hope to leave our children/grandchildren a better world than we had. I do not feel this is the case now. Only regret is I have not remained active in church. But I have never denied Christ. Hope he will give me a pass. Sorry for the morbid post.. but it is what I feel.
  20. I have one of those special Labs... I understand.
  21. One of my favorite actors... What about Hannibal Lecter!..
  22. I have been using a local print shop for copies of patterns. I use to print the big patterns in poster mode, then tape the pieces together. This print shop can do any size I need, and it is very cheap. No really even worth me owning a printer.
  23. That is a wonderful cutting. Your dogs are so beautiful!
  24. Great looking bird house!
