  1. I guess I did not read the full piece all I saw was Amazing Grave. Well, I tried.
  2. Hum. I found it yesterday and thought I have responded to you, but guess I did not hit the send button. Anyway, it is Sheila Landry's https://sheilalandrydesigns.com/scroll-saw-patterns/amazing-grace-sectional-pattern/
  3. I think that is a Sheila Landry pattern: https://sheilalandrydesigns.com/scroll-saw-patterns/amazing-grace-sectional-pattern/. Her patterns are great. By the way this thread is from 2019 so the original poster may not be on here anymore. He last signed in 10/2023
  4. Very well done and beautiful.
  5. I have some short steel bars I use. Yes, those irons would work nice. I have two that even have handles on them. I wonder it my wife would notice if I moved them to my shop.
  6. Yes, there is one in a town near me that I inquired about over six months ago. I was told it was sold. Still listed. Maybe the sale fell through. But I wrote and asked a couple of months ago and got no response but still listed.
  7. What do you make of this? I messaged the seller and asked if he would please send me the serial number of the saw, thinking I would call Hawk to see what is the age of the saw. This was the third message to him about the saw in a little over a month. I waited three weeks or so for a response and got nothing. I did not think that was an excessive number of questions, considering I would be spending around $500 plus a 600-mile round trip. After I waited, for several weeks I sent another message and stated I would really like to know the serial number of the saw and for him not to respond made me a little suspicious. Well, I got an answer back, telling me to do something "---- off" and He was selling the saw for his dad, quit asking him questions. Then the listing of the saw disappeared from Marketplace. So maybe he sold it all of a sudden. Or maybe it was not a legit deal, I do not know.
  8. Another great job, barb! I know you are a boater and this is your boating season, but have you figured out a place on your yacht for a scroll saw and maybe some sanding tools? What could be a more peaceful place to scroll than anchored in some beautiful cove?
  9. One of a kind for sure. Love it!
  10. Well, that takes me back! She had a recent birthday. Still looks pretty good. But I see her with 80-year-old eyes.
  11. I agree, very nice, simple but eloquent! But what heat. Going too be 90°+ tomorrow, but remember it is the first day of summer. It should be hot! That is what we all look forward to all Winter!
  12. Jeaheon, where have you been? I Have not seen you on here for some time or if you have I have missed it. I Hope all is well.
  13. Well done. Very appropriate.
  14. Great pattern, Charlie. Maybe you should have left the little guitar on the pattern. It is a nice touch.
  15. great remembrance
  16. the second "E" is silent anyway! I am so bad at grammar and spelling that I downloaded the free "Grammarly". I Would like to get the premium version.
  17. WOW! Marie. That is a beautiful box. The "craftswomanship" is outstanding!
  18. Steve Good pattern catalog, search "jewelry tray"
  19. Well I did finally get a response from Hawk. Not from their contact method on their website but from their FaceBook page. This it what the response if from them: If that is an older stand, It sure was well cared for. I don't see a scratch on it. Mystery. I did message the owner and ask for a serial number, no response so far.
  20. I have used most of the methods above, but usually, I tape the edges. I hate messing with hot glue. In addition to taping the edges, I use small wire nails on larger pieces. I put a nails in some of the waste areas. I have a steel bar I lay the pattern on, Pound the nail(s) in with a Hammer, remember hammers(?). No pin nailer/compressor required. The point of the nail is flattened when it hits the steel bar. Then I cut the protruding top of the nail off with clippers.
  21. I love it. I want to do both the dog and the cat. They will brighten up a room.
  22. I contacted the seller and he responded that he had no idea why the paint was like that. The whole stand is that way, no places underneath, inside legs all. I contacted Hawk and asked them about it via their message system and of course on response, which is what I expected. It's hard for me to want to do business with that kind of CS. If they do not want to respond to messages do not have a setup for them.
  23. Very nice. I have several patterns for chess sets. Not sure I will ever get one done. But seeing yours inspires me. Welcome to the forum. Glad to meet you. I see your first name is my last name. Somehow, sometime mine got an extra "S" added to it.
  24. Great picture. Old Clint is getting a lot of attention on Facebook lately. He just turned 93 or something.
  25. You must find a way to start hanging your art from the ceiling. You are out of wall space. Nice shop.
