  1. you gotta work the system. And like I stated in another thread,, I have always been a little out of wack.. you search for a post about air brushes using "air brushes.". I immediately search using "Harbor Freight" and do not understand why you searched as you did!
  2. Another attempt at segmented picture. Not a success because I lost a couple pieces. Two of the very thin line pieces were so thin they crumbled when I handled them and for some reason the black paint did not cure beyond tacky. I suppose I could fill the missing lines with white card stock. Anyway this was a practice. I enjoyed doing it. Never has any problem with rust-oleum paint before, but it is still tacky and I painted it two days ago. I love these pictures, I have this one and a trumpet player.
  3. Here is what I use. Very basic. Of coarse with this on you have to have a center hole in the working piece. You can drill holes in the slider to fit the hole in your circle. O used this mainly when making wheels and gears. works pretty well, but downside only on something you are willing to have a center hole in.
  4. This one? I just searched here for Harbor freight.
  5. That is really a beautifully done picture of praying hands. They all are really well done.
  6. Glad to have you back.. I have dealt with depression and it can be devastating. Keeping busy can help a lot. Especially when doing something you love.
  7. Darn, kinda puts one in the spirit. All very well done.
  8. Very nice, I really like it. I had forgotten about this and other air plant holder patterns. Some where I have patterns for several different ones, This was one of them. I think they are very need and there is the whole interesting variety of air plants.. May have to revisit that project
  9. That is a beautiful urn. Very fitting and may he rest in peace.
  10. Not only doe it look very effective, it looks very nice also.
  11. Makes a nice sign. Blue or black, it looks nice.
  12. That is really a beauty! Very well done, I love the colors.
  13. Very well done. I have never seen one like the "We give thanks. I really like that.
  14. must be a better cleaner,, waste of good Vodka!
  15. Okay I gave you a "like" but had to come back and give you an "Awesome"! I love the way you painted them.
  16. Well while waiting for my wife while she was in respiratory rehab, I went to Harbor Freight, the sacrifices I make for my wife,,, and purchased one of these air brushes. If it works well I may get another..the jars alone are worth it. While checking out, the checker, a lady, I am sure said she had one and it worked well for decorating cakes until she ran vodka through the air hose and it some how screwed up the hose... ?? I may have to go back and revisit that with her,, next time my wife is in rehab.. Vodka???!!!
  17. Great job!
  18. MORE! MORE! MORE! I really envy you, looks like a lot of fun.
  19. That is a great one of old John...I miss him... He played the same part in every movie they just changed costumes and scenery to fit the era of the movie..
  20. Can someone explain the paint you us in these? Can you use the acrylic paints you buy in a hobby store. Like Delta. Would they have to be thinned too much to work?
  21. Have you adjusted the blade tension with the knob in the back?. I know, you are saying "well doh!". but some times it is the simple things we over look. I know you leveled the arms, but the tension tension part can get worn and not hold tension. I had to replace mine on my Hegner once. Anyway, welcome to the forum. Glad you are joining us and I look forward to seeing your work. One more thing, if you do not get help here do not hesitate to call Ray at Seyco... Not his saw anymore but he knows all there is to know about the excalibur type of saw.
  22. Those are really cute....How do you paint the eyes so perfectly?
  23. Well you didn't let any moss grow on your back this past mounts! You were busy! Nice builds. I especially like the whirligigs and and dog planters....
  24. I watched the video. Why does he paint spoons black.. He kept saying he would paint a lot of spoon black because he uses them the most... Why not just buy black plastic spoons. I do think I would use one of those. I have a cheap one but have never used it because there is too much clean up... this one solves that.
  25. Nice work. That time of year is creeping up again.. When I was a kid is seemed to take a year for Christmas to come. Now it happens almost weekly it seems.
