    Not "Absolut". I only drink the cheap stuff. I found out many years ago that I can reach a level of drunkenness just as quick with the cheap stuff. Thunderbird, Boone's Farm. It all results in me driving the porceline bus. Anyway I hope this helps.

    23 inches. My stand is 24" so it's gonna be tight but I can cut a little off the neck if necessary. I've gotta get a couple of pvc fittings to make 90 degree bends. I pretty much designed the plumbing for the upper and lower pickups. It's going to be cool.

    @Foxfold @Wilson142 here ya go. 3 pics. Not sure what order they will post in but in one pic you can see the convex end on the vac and the concave end of the OJ bottle. The next pic shows how well they mate together. I haven't hot-glued them yet. The 3rd pic is just to show that the bottle has the cap off of it. I used a hole saw to cut a hole in the bottom end of the bottle that matches the exhaust on the vac. Once I get everything figured out as to mounting etc. I'll glue them together and maybe shorten the neck on the bottle. I was blown away at how quiet it is with the bottle up against the vac without any seal so it will be even better once I hot-glue it together. The MicroVac is only 4" in diameter so it will fit up under my stand and not even be seen.

    Oh yes, for certain. I have been going to build some sort of table but hadn't decided on a design. Now yours is just right. I don't have room for anything any larger than yours. It will be a fun build. Thanks again for all your input here on the Village.

    I bought a machine about 8 years ago from the Stratosphere in Vegas. Actually, I bought it in Fort Mohave Az. It has always worked great but about a year ago, I turned it off to save on electricity. The lights run 24/7. Anyway, the cmos battery went dead trying to keep the ram memory alive so I had to solder on a new one. Now, I've got a problem with it that is driving me nuts. But, I'll fix it. It may take me until the economy reopens but I'll fix it.

    I noticed when I had my Dewalt and the Fein hooked up to it that I had a lot of suction noise at the nozzles. Not sure how to go about taming that down but I'm think that if the bottom of yours with the funnel doesn't make as much noise, it's got to be the size of the opening of the top one. Mine was a 3/4" LocLine nozzle. I'm going to see what happens when I have my new set up installed. So far, I've not had time to do anything with it. I'm involved with trying to get my slot machine up and running. I had the coin battery that holds the ram memory go bad and I finally got around to fixing it but something else is wrong now. I'm about ready to S-can the whole thing.

    You can design it with an air bleed so you can control the amount of suction. A pvc water valve in the line is all you need. Adjustable.

    Yes, I will post a pic as soon as I get a chance. It probably won't work unless you have the "metro vac" type of vacuum. I have a couple other things that are priority today.

    My youngest son will be the one who will be interested. Once he gets his business really going good. This virus didn't help.

    Are using a blower tube for pick-up?

    Charley, did you build/make your own laser point or is it something that came with your drill press? I want to put something like that on my little d/p too. edit: Never mind that question. I went back and reread your post and saw what you did. I'll have to see if I can get one.
