  1. Stay well and thanks for checking in.
  2. Sunday is my birthday. I don't expect anybody to get up before sunrise to honor me. But if you do, DO IT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!
  3. Thanks. I forgot that I have a couple of them in odd shapes. I'll have to dig them out. Getting old/forgetful sucks.
  4. I'm not sure what that is. Can you explain or post a pic?
  5. Perfect timing Charley. I've been going to build a d/p table. Now I don't have to design it. Thanks.
  6. Somehow I don't think I'll have much to add to what has already been said.
  7. I've got a rubber block that has a flap on each end that has 3 nails under the flap to hold the paper. I load it with 3-4 strips and peel them off as they wear out. I've had it for about 40 years.
  8. It all depends on time of day. If it's during the day, they will be vertical but in the evening, they will be laying horizontally. Oh, and the number of ice cubes is optional.
  9. Thanks Dan. I'm surprised that the paper on your ROS doesn't clog up. I have dust collection on mine too but it still seems to build up. I'll have to do some watching to see if I'm wrong. Maybe I'm just using my paper beyond it's "sell by" date. Like I said, I'm a cheapskate.
  10. No, it's made up of a gum type of rubber that pulls the dust out of the grit. I have seen them used on belts and they seem to work. I have a piece of Corian that was a scrap from when our home was built. I tape full sheets of paper to it for large pieces. I have been known to vacuum the dust out of the paper. I'm cheap.
  11. I just found this on Amazon. Too good to pass up so I ordered a pair. $15.99 for 2. https://www.amazon.com/EVISWIY-Lighting-Multifunctional-Gooseneck-Workbench/dp/B07PVFRBXT/ref=sr_1_4?crid=3KRW2BAW78R21&dchild=1&keywords=eviswiy+sewing+machine+light+led&qid=1586374674&sprefix=evisw%2Caps%2C206&sr=8-4
  12. This brings up a question I have had for a long time but forget to inquire. How many of you folks in the know, use a sandpaper cleaner block? I've always thought about buying one but for some reason I never have.
  13. Not me. I would probably cut my finger off.
  14. Me neither. I have enough trouble following directions/patterns.
  15. You must have put the fear of God into them. I just went through all 45 pages of their stencils and didn't find yours.
  16. Is your work copyrighted? If so, I'd drop them a letter of warning. Not something to be taken lightly.
  17. Did you make your own or just redo some of the commercial sanding strips? I've seen somewhere that folks have made their own by gluing the abrasive cloth to the sides of an old saw blade. I've not tried it yet but I don't see why it won't work.
  18. I just found this on a FB scrolling site. Looks like something to do that's out of the norm. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcEP0OAl7QI&fbclid=IwAR1GN4MZUlAZA5iEBqHKuOSLwcA9pUGI2wFdOvwrc6EQ7Hv5yrBwLfDNM30
  19. It is going to be interesting to see which one of us survives this time of crisis. She's mad at me because I stopped saying "what" and just clammed up. Lol.
  20. My whiskey of choice is Canadian Club. My Dad loved Seagrams VO. What does that about us? 3 fingers of CC over 5 ice cubes leaves me feeling mello. After shp time. Not during. Oh, we like our wine too.
  21. My Excalibur doesn't. Call Ray at Seyco. He'll help you.
  22. Never tried Jameson. The stuff I drink is strained through a sock. But I like your solution.
  23. Give yourself some credit Dick. You do some awesome work too.
