I agree with Stoney. I bought my Delta 14" with the enclosed base, in like new condition, for $300 on Craigslist too. In fact, I have bought all of my larger tools used off of C/L. With the exception of my Rigid oscillating spindle sander. I got over anxious and bought it new. Not long after I bought it, one showed up on C/L for half of what I paid. So, with that said, don't be in a rush. Be patient and a deal will always come your way.

Actually, I'm not a fan of any sport that uses round balls with the exception of billiards. I am an avid Nascar fan (not Kyle Busch) and college football. Go Trojans.

I would think there must be a way to do it on an Apple. Aren't they the "do all, end all"? Must be a way. I just did a quick search and came up with this. It may not be the way but I'm sure there must be a way. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204995

Did you try opening them in Irfanview? If you do that, then under the "image" menu there is a "color correction" option. Open that, slide the red button all the way to the right side. It will make your pattern red/pink. Save it as "red" whatever name you gave it. They should be able to print it from that.

A little bit of an update......I cut and applied my patterns to eight pieces of mahogany today. I cut out 2 of the panels and they came out waaaaay better than the ones I cut out of the aromatic cedar. They appear to be much stronger too. I think I might go ahead and get some 1/4" mahogany and recut a couple of the pieces that are cedar. I think in the long run, the whole thing will be stronger. Thanks to all of you for helping me out here. I learned a lot.

Are those hose hold downs magnetic Les? That looks like a great idea. I think I might incorporate something like that on my EX. As for your wheels, I bought 8" wheels with plastic centers and rubber tires. The axle hole is 1/2" so it raise the rear of my saw 4". I didn't want to put them under a platform. I guess that's what you are going to do?

I would bolt it to a board that can be clamped to or bolted to the bench. But if you want it tilted it would be easier to tilt the entire saw on a board and keep it more solidly mounted.

14" isn't what I would call small. I have a 14" and it is heavy. I have it on a roller base but when I brought it home in the back of my truck, I had to get help to bring it into my shop.

I just looked to see where Justin is. I see it's a small town but you have an Ace Hdwe. Store. Are you close to it? I also see Rabbit Hole Brewing Co. The place to be would be right in between them.

That definitely works and I see what you mean by oversimplifying. You start to lose some of the detail.

so that it is totally adjustable to my comfort. That way, when I find the right tilt, I just mark where that board is. At some point in the future, I may permanently attach it so that it stays there. So far, I'm not sure where I want it.

When I was a kid, I used to do Aleene's yard/lawn care. Big money. I got $30 a month to mow her lawn every week. And she had a huge yard.

Kevin, all I can say is this.....I bought a set for my EX21 and I love them. I am toying with buying a set for my Dewalt if I decide to keep it. Probably will. Anyway, I'm thinking that if I do buy a set, I might just buy the ones for the EX and put them on the Dewalt. I like the tension lever. It works very smoothly. I can see setting the tension wheel/lever on the Dewalt and leaving it set at that point and just using the tension lever that is on the EX clamps. I think that would be far easier than the way you set the tension on the Dewalt. I realize you have become very accustomed to doing it the Dewalt way so it might not work out for you but having two saws both tensioning the same way would be a big benefit for me. If you do decide to buy a set, you won't be disappointed.

Thanks Bob, but that won't help me learn Inkscape. Right now, I have the drawing open, bit mapped and zoomed to 200%. I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to delete the nodes within a "boxed" area. I want to get rid of them and do a node trace of my own with far fewer nodes. I hope I'm making myself clear.

I was just looking at what's available from the LocLine website and I see that they jump from 3/4" up to 2 1/2". I'm wondering how much suction would be lost if I was to run my Fein hose into 1 1/4" pvc and then up to 2 1/2" and then neck it down on the ends to something smaller. I hate to spend money on the LocLine just to find out that it doesn't "suck".

If you didn't have much vibration before, chances are you won't notice any change in that department. I didn't either but what I found that did help a lot was to put that foam rubber flooring under all four feet of my stand. That pretty much took all vibration away. I'm referring to what they call "anti-fatigue" mats. I have done the entire floor of my small shop with them. So nice, easy to keep clean and no vibration.

Ok, I saw that but I thought it was to update the drawing being bit mapped. When I open that window, it always displays the last thing that I did so I hit the update key. I'll have to try what you suggested. The one I am working on right now has so many nodes all crammed in around the lines that I thought it might be nice to just draw a box around them and hit the delete key but so far it hasn't worked.
