  1. Welcome Patrick. I'm at Clyde, about a four hour trip sort of North of you. You will like it here. Larry
  2. Not a Mac user so do not know if this will help or not. https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1385805 I did a search for using Inkscape with Mac 10.10. Larry
  3. Good luck. May you find a good affordable one that will hold you over till you can afford your dream one. Larry

  5. Did a look on internet for teflon coating scroll saw table. Found one posting made in 2004 and after a year of use it was still working good. Cost $25.00 then. Also found two postings about using formica. One used double sided tape and the other used contact cement. One posting stated now he did not have to worry about sweat rust. Said just wipe the sweat off the formica and keep on cutting. Larry
  6. This link takes you to information on "fixing the DeWalt knock": http://www.scrollsaws.com/SawReviews/DewltTuneUp.htm Larry
  7. Neat cutting. The middle one grabs my attention a bit more than the others. Larry
  8. Looks good to me. Bet the Brothers had to remake their pattern a time or two to get it to turn out the way they wanted it to. Larry
  9. Also used hair dryer to heat up connection and pushed it together. If in need of a new hose and you do not want to spend $20.00 for the DeWalt replacement you may want to give a look at these: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=oil+water+flexible+coolant+pipe&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Aoil+water+flexible+coolant+pipe Larry

  12. Thanks for the welcome. Yep, even after reading the posts including those from the Coffee House, I joined up. To help in my decision I picked up a coin, tossed it in the air, called heads and heads it was when it landed. Now as I look at that coin, I notice it has heads on both sides. Oh well, the decision was made and here I be. (From welcome post to Denis (Looking up a bit, TWO LARRY'S omg. ) Yep TWO, we may not rock, we may not roll, but this I know, we love to scroll. I’ll try to remember to dig out some pics to post. Catchyalater, Larry

  14. Been following the posts here for sometime. Figured it was time to join so I could see the photos of the great work I have been reading about. Been scrolling close to nine years shortly after retiring from 39 years in Army and Texas Army National Guard. Have not found anything that calms me down as much as the scrolling blade cutting into the wood. Thanks for letting me sign in. Larry
