  1. Good luck with your sales.
  2. Nice cutting. Thanks for the Mother's day wishes.
  3. Congrats on the great show.
  4. John, Sorry I am late in welcoming you to the village. I would certainly be interested in your patterns and projects. It would be interesting to read about how you add colour to scrolling. I don't know what Fisher-Price did. Looking forward to more posts from you. Barb
  5. very nice work. Have you considered using a jig to hold the pieces together instead of taping & retaping. Steve Good has a pattern for a jig on his site. Might speed things up a bit.
  6. The font is Berlin. Don in Brooklyn ON created the pattern for me. There is a Berlin font in Inkscape.
  7. Delivered to the client yesterday. She loved it. Now it is on it's way to the recipient in Vancouver.
  8. There was a set in one of the Scroll saw magazines. Maybe a couple of years ago.
  9. Here is what I have
  10. Like Kev, I am a visual learner. Slow at that but whatever! I have also tried the free software for Cricket & Silhouette, which are supposed to be easier than Inkscape. Can't figure those out either. I have tried learning by setting up my Chromebook with the video beside my laptop with Inkscape. Quite a set up to behold!!!
  11. As always, very nice. Just a thought on the painting - maybe some brown/green on the top of the wings for shading. The flames are great.
  12. I think I have the patterns. Not sure where I got them so not sure if they are "legal" I will search my thumb drive later today.
  13. This is the third one I have done for this customer. No, they are not all her kids but nieces/nephews.
  14. Lovely
  15. Got a request for a new name puzzle from my team mate on Thursday. Need to deliver this Thursday. All done! Thanks to Don for his help with the pattern. With his tutelage, I may actually be able to do my own pattern next time. Cut from BB Ply with a #5 MG reverse blade. Font is Berlin. Colour provided by Unicorn Spit. Final finish is Tung Oil.
  16. Have you tried Stockroom Supply? Link here. https://stockroomsupply.com/search?type=product&q=sanding+mop
  17. Welcome from the centre of Canada - Winnipeg. I heard about your town on a documentary a while ago. Interesting.
  18. Welcome from the centre of Canada - Winnipeg!
  19. Good to see you are still posting. I really like the new one. As always, great work.
  20. Regarding the sanding mop: Not sure who CS is, but if it is a standard item in the Canadian catalogue, why not just phone the Canadian store?
  21. Kev, I totally enjoy reading your commentary. It always is well thought out and presented. I wouldn't have commented on the table saw or planer as I don't have either. I am one of those "sucked into" fb. I will however always answer my phone. I much prefer talking to a person. So much can get misconstrued via text/written word. My sarcasm doesn't come through very well in the written form.
  22. Well, I will add to this conversation. I do check regularly and now that I am newly retired, check it daily. I have been spending a couple of hours daily in the workshop this month. Have a lot of stuff cut, but nothing totally finished. As others said, if it has already been answered, I won't comment. There are others that are far more knowledgeable than I. I also belong to a few FB groups and tend to post there. It is a little easier to post there from my phone than it is here from my tablet. And harder to post here from my phone. Focus will be changing soon to some of our boat projects. Just waiting for the snow to go and the lake to thaw.
