  1. Here is what I have done so far this year. The two bears are for the grand-kids for Valentines day. Steve Good pattern cut from Sapelle, Maple & Aspen. The Gnomes are from Gayle at Scrollers Cafe. Cut from an old MDF baseboard, and sapelle for the heart. The segmented rose is from Steve Good as well. Cut from pine. Tried a couple of different techniques. Overall, please with the results except the backing. That was a big fail, but shushhh, no one needs to know!!!
  2. Don't recognize it but would also be interested in the pattern!
  3. Stunning - love the colouring.
  4. Welcome to the village from Winnipeg, MB!
  5. Someone will like them. They are cute!
  6. Frank, you are too hard on yourself. If that is "the quality" you can do, then I will just hang up my blades. It looks fabulous as always.
  7. Was going to comment then realized the date - can't seem to delete
  8. Wonderful.
  9. Love the outdoor space, so inviting! Great work on the ornaments.
  10. Great idea to swap out the toppers.
  11. Very nice. Not the "cat" I was expecting!!
  12. I just got an airbrush for Christmas. Can I spray Tung Oil or Watco Danish oil if they are thinned with mineral spirits?
  13. Those are very nice. I actually like them as they are - floating on the background.
  14. I like them. If you are able/willing to share the pattern I would love a copy.
  15. Very nice. I cut the small one, stack 3. Put one together but never got a finish on it. Did you finish the parts separately or after it was assembled? What did you use to finish?
  16. Like lawson56, I didn't see the birds until I saw the second photo. What a great job.
  17. Great work. I like the car with the colour choices.
  18. Finished this for my daughter. Steve Good pattern shrunk down to 75% (I think). Assorted woods including poplar, live edge black ash, pine and ???? Modified the star as it snapped off when finishing. 20211217_074243.mp4
  19. Very nice & simple. Good job.
  20. It was a very quick cut, just what I was looking for.
  21. I give my nieces and nephews an ornament every year. This year was Steve Goods initial snowflake. Did the personalized ornaments for the grandkids and great-nephews and an order from my daughter for her nephews.
  22. I cut the gear heart as well. Did you finish the parts separately or after it was assembled?
  23. Nice work. Love the paint job. I also will shrink a pattern as well.
  24. Just a quick cut yesterday and finish this morning. Stack cut 1/4 thick hardwood ply from KJP Hardwoods. Backer is some masonite. Finish is tung oil. Pattern from Steve Good. Nice to do something "just because"
  25. Awesome story. Thanks for sharing both the story and your expertise. Merry Christmas!
