  1. I like the idea of a bowl. Carol Rothman has patterns available. Or wildlife. Or on the very "figured" one, just a clear coat and done!
  2. Neither - I don't fish, but if I did it is my reeling in (right) arm.
  3. Well, three weeks after breaking my arm I have enough mobility to get some work done. Won't be working on the Mandala's for awhile though. This was a custom order that I got just before I broke my arm. 1/2" bb ply with 1/4" backer. I don't remember the font but it was a part of the Windows list at the office. Glad I was able to get it done. I need to put one more coat of oil on it before passing it to the customer.
  4. Not much snow left here in Winnipeg, which is very unusual. Please keep it there!!
  5. There is a video on the Gwinnett Woodworking site that shows how to do this without the fancy jig!!
  6. Nice work I bought the Keith Fenton pattern recently but not yet cut it.
  7. Glad you are back - I can't wait to get back after I heal!
  8. lovely
  9. Beautiful. Love the topic.
  10. Great job. I was also going to ask whose pattern. That will be going on the cut list...once I get back to cutting.
  11. I love the timer on the Wen. It was just weird because I knew I had set the timer and then a day later, it was running again. I thought I was loosing my marbles!!
  12. I don't have any fluorescent lights in the house. Going to bring in my garage door opener to see if that is the issue. Will keep you all informed.
  13. Thanks will do. I just realized this is in the wrong category, should be in the q&a section.
  14. Good job Susan. Nice to see more females around here. As Lawson suggested, I would just put a clear finish on it. And then hang on your wall. I don't believe I kept my first project. Not even sure what it was. Wish I had.
  15. I got the Wen air exchanger/filter for my birthday in November and got it installed late December. It has been working great except for one thing. At first I thought that maybe I didn't set the timer on the unit, it was still running long after I left the workroom. It was on again a few other times. Again thinking that I just didn't turn the timer on. Well, I haven't been in the workshop for over a week (fractured arm) and it was running yesterday. I will call Wen on Monday, but has anyone else experience this? If so, what did you do to fix?
  16. Oh Travis.... so sorry to hear. I am always concerned about hitting the wrong key. As a former boss said, "at least you did kill someone. This too can be fixed!!"
  17. That is so cute!
  18. Class act Kevin. Well done.
  19. Nice cutting. Great display
  20. Are you hiding the box? My dad was into Geocaching and I did some with him. Really enjoyed it. Not so much fun by yourself and I can't get hubby interested

  22. Nice work. Congrats on the anniversary. Mine is 39 this year! Hopefully I have that Mandala done in time!!
  23. Thought that might have been a Botas pattern! Nice cutting.
