  1. Here they are finished. Used a pencil crayon to do subtle colour on the nose and hoves. Also Mrs. Clause. Not really happy with Mrs.
  2. That looks like Kaa from The Jungle Book!
  3. They are also available from King Canada, which were a lot cheaper than the DeWalt brand. http://files.kingcanada.com/catalog/products/servicemanualxm/KXL-16 service manual.pdf. However it did take awhile for the service center to get them in.
  4. That is beautiful. Love the colours in it.
  5. I had the option to open as a pdf or photo. This first option didn't work, but opening as a photo did. It seems to be just a picture of the ornaments, not the patterns
  6. I have also got "Fred" cut & glued together. Just need to put a finish on them.
  7. Bill, they are just basic craft acrylic paints. Picked up 12 colours from Michael's a couple of years ago.
  8. Here are my finished gnomes. Reduced to 70%
  9. Cut and painted this afternoon. Still have to glue together.
  10. I'll take one! Great cutting
  11. I cut this a few years ago. If you want a taller piece I would suggest cutting it in two pieces and glue together, then sand the exterior and interior flush. The main body is 1" thick with the top is 1/8" and bottom is 1/4". I think this was my first attempt at a "box". I keep it by my chair and put earring in at the end of the day!. Should probably get around to finishing it properly!!
  12. Very nice. K.I.S.S. (keep it simple silly)
  13. I have also put things aside to cut something that has caught my eye. My problem is that the 9 - 5:30 full time job gets in the way of cutting!!
  14. Looks great. I got as far as printing it. Actually downsized it to 70% and hope to get to the saw this weekend. It will mean that the mandalas I have been working on get put aside!
  15. There is just one problem with this shop - if you look at the floor plan in the link, there is no scroll saw!!!
  16. I give ornaments to my nieces & nephews every year. The compound cut ones are for them, Sue Mey pattern. The grandson and grandnephew are getting the puzzles. The son-in-law is getting the shelf.
  17. I have been using a piece of sand paper glued to a smooth ceramic tile. Just rub the piece over the sandpaper. Have a couple of tiles with different grits.
  18. Late to the game --- we have a boat that we spray the bimini with waterproofing spray every year. Never can be too careful!
  19. Both are great but I would choose the colorized one
  20. I just got the WEN 3410 for birthday gift. Have yet to hang it up. Looking forward to gaining a bit of space back by moving the box fan off the counter top!
  21. It certainly is!!
  22. We could if we lived on a lake that opened up to the loop!
  23. I know - sold a boat last season and bought another at the end of this season. For us, BOATS also means Bruises Of All Types & Sizes!! This is ours coming out of the water this year.
  24. Another boat!! LOL
