  1. I prefer the second one but both are great. Almost any pattern is on my wish list, hoping to get some for Christmas!!! If not, then I will be buying in the new year.
  2. I wish I knew how to design. I just cut some ornaments from a previous book. It was interesting - originally didn't like the look of them on paper, but when cut - Wow! really liked them! I am looking forward to the newest edition.
  3. That's on my list for my grandson this Christmas!
  4. Great display! Curious about some of your pricing. I am doing a craft sale at the end of the month and also have those big eyed fish cut - what did you price them at and did they sell???
  5. My complaint is that they offer a "bonus" for new subscribers - my dad always contacted magazines that he subscribed to for years and asked what they would do to keep him as a subscriber? Ultimately he received the bonus offer. I tried the same thing with their latest offering of the Celtic Knot patterns. Didn't work out so well. I was told to subscribe for the year. they would meld my current subscription with the new one and then I could get the pattern book. Not so sure I trust that as it took quite a while to get the subscription sent out correctly. I have a two year subscription then ends next year.
  6. I would love a couple of your patterns. Very nice and unique!
  7. $5! I made a few and was going to sell for $10 - $12!
  8. Sorry for your loss Ray.
  9. You do realize that it was a "Colorado low" that brought the snow! Lol
  10. Had to look to see where you live - we had a big storm here Thursday through to Saturday. I have probably lost a Maple as well.
  11. Received my magazine on Friday. Looking forward to trying the Charles Hand puzzle. Also the reindeer/sled pattern. I don't do Intarsia because I also hate sanding!
  12. What a wonderful thoughtful person you are. Sorry for your wife's loss.
  13. Received my magazine tiday. Looking forward to cutting the patter. Hope that Harvey is doing better. Regarding the patterns, i wish that the special offers for "new" subscibers were offer to current subscribers. I have a two year subscription the ends next year but would love the celtic knot pattern book. Not willing to subscribe a year early to get the offer. They should reward existing subscribers.
  14. Welcome to the village. I will be traveling out to your neck of the woods in October to visit my sister for her birthday. Looking forward to going to Woodchuckers. No great places for thin wood here in Winnipeg.
  15. Beautiful puzzles, love the colours on the first puzzle.
  16. Here are a few items that made it to the office. I particularly like the Attitude is everything. Some days it means something completely different than other days! Doesn't define what type of attitude
  17. Actually, the season is over so now I can spend time with DeWalt. Possibly make the hubby jealous!!!!
  18. Beautiful work Kevin.
  19. I love the middle (first) flower one. If that is considered not finished, then I am up a creek. I would certainly consider it finished!
  20. What are you trying to attach? Is it flat glass, a glass, textured glass? What type of wood? Not that I will have any suggestions, but it might help others to figure out possibilites
  21. A few pieces that I have finished. The fish and unicorn are 3/4 poplar. The truck is pine.
  22. What a handsome fellow - love his face!
  23. I have a DeWalt 788 and, as I think every one here has done, I have removed the upper hold down. I have finally gotten around to replacing the blade clamps with my Pegas clamps. As I was doing so, the black vertical "guard" under the table was getting in the way. What is it's purpose and has anyone removed it?
  24. I knew exactly what it was, my hubby is in IT and has used that many times!!
  25. I do the exact same thing, BE/19 and I use a fine point sharpie.
