  1. I recently purchased the plunge router base from StewMac. They had a sale on - two for one. It actually ended up being a little cheaper than buying just the plunge router base. The second piece was their tilting base. I haven't tried it yet. https://www.stewmac.com/luthier-tools-and-supplies/types-of-tools/routers-and-bits/stewmac-tilt-router-base.html
  2. Changing the topic just a bit, with the price of lumber (plywood & 2x4's) is the price of the hardwood going up as well? Hubby & I had a discussion about woods and this was his question. I haven't really done much with hard woods at this point. Just curious.
  3. They are both lovely. The are different patterns in my mind.
  4. I have waxed the table, this is just a great top up in between full waxing.
  5. I have waxed my table. This is just a quick way to "top it up"
  6. I watched this video a month or so ago. There is a great tip in about 5:55. I finally got around to taking the wax paper to the workroom. Wiped my table down before starting work on another layer of the mandala. Wow! It was so easy to spin at the corners. I have waxed the table before, but this was so easy to do as a touch up. Also did it between blade changes. Wax paper will be a fixture in the workshop now.
  7. Amazing job
  8. Love the wood choice. It is also on my cut list, right behind, or in front of, the last one she provided in the magazine!
  9. Great job. I printed that pattern a few years ago but never got around to cutting it.
  10. I still enjoy getting a piece of mail, regardless of what it is. I spend time looking through it and have cut a few of the patterns. There are more in the "would like to cut" pile than "already cut". What I do find frustrating is that some of the patterns that are included are patterns that I had just purchased from the designer. I wish the designers would post patterns that are not available anywhere else.
  11. I purchased a strip of led lights that have a tape backing. I also used hot glue to hold them in place. The plug is on the very back of the light. It came with a remote control. I only needed a couple of feet of the lights. The rest are going to be installed on our boat!
  12. Here is one that I quite like. Not sure I want to do. My sister helped with the paint suggestion. One side is summer, the other fall.
  13. That is a mighty fine sign!
  14. This product came up in a different feed. http://store.workshopsupply.com/catalogue/scroll-saw-stick-and-release-tape-12-20-p-4418.html. I just tried the link for amazon but it apparently is sold out so I don't know what the price is. I was thinking of trying it from Workshop Supply but the shipping on the smaller roll was more than the roll itself. Have to wait a bit to order other things as well!
  15. Great job. Looks great lit up.
  16. Nice cutting. Good job!
  17. She is due mid-May. It will be a very busy time! Our anniversary is May 15th and that is also when we hope to have our boat moved and in the water.
  18. Granddaughter is due mid-May.
  19. Finished this a few weeks back. Just got it to my daughter to hang in the soon expected granddaughters room. I like it better hanging than I did holding it.
  20. Great work. I haven't attempted to "free hand" puzzles yet. Just been using templates.
  21. What a great way to spend the day! Awesome work.
  22. Awesome job. I can't wait until my grandson is old enough to be in the shop.
  23. Great job. Welcome
