  1. if you want to do another one, here is the link to that pattern. https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/658244810/c46-dragonfly-scroll-saw-pattern-pdf-dxf?click_key=2359640e99b94cff18d12e93445efeff8d906606%3A658244810&click_sum=414c93f7&ref=shop_home_active_108&sts=1
  2. Did your wife like it?
  3. Steve Good has also mentioned using salt, just a few grains, for glue ups.
  4. I did. I stack cut three from 1/8 bb ply. When I posted it on my Facebook page, my cousin ended up buying all three. Haven't gotten around to making any more.
  5. I bought the WEN after Steve Good did a review on it. Love it. Gave up my Rigid bench top sander as I had no space for it and it lived on my floor.
  6. That looks similar to the panels I purchased from KJP Hardwoods. They are easy cutting. What I don't like is how the edges finish. I feel that it can't be left as an open edge but needs a frame or trim around. https://kjpselecthardwoods.com/collections/craft-mdf-plywood/products/maplecraftplywood
  7. Beautiful cutting.
  8. Looks great. I also turn to Alex Fox for a layered pattern. My daughter bought me a couple for Christmas a few years back. One was a dragon fly.
  9. Great work on the goblet. I hope that you and your wife had better/stable days ahead.
  10. Very nice Don.
  11. Wow. That is some delicate cutting. Very nice.
  12. I debated staining the cave but really liked the striped look of the wood. Thought it would represent a desert/sand look which is what I think of for the landscape.
  13. My sister mentioned these last year, so whe Steve Good posted the pattern, I knew I had to make it for her. Will mail this to her this week. Wood, for the background is balck ash, from a friend. Figures are maple. Also from the same friend. Just a clearcoat finish. Done at 80% to save on size for shipping!! .
  14. The grains in those look so complimentary. Very nice cutting.
  15. I remember trying to sign up for this but it never seemed to work.
  16. Alex had posted on a facebook feed that I saw yesterday. He said they were safe at that time and were donating some of the money from his Etsy site to a charitable organization. Of course I can't find that posting now.
  17. The templates look great. Lots of "basic" patterns in there already.
  18. Very nice. I have seen that as well. Thought it looked like a pattern from Jessica Boehm https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/991379519/welcome-butterfly-pattern-pdf-jpeg-svg?click_key=0f76d53fb332548745111ee2d8d1645fe02e69fc%3A991379519&click_sum=a114a062&ref=shop_home_recs_1&sts=1
  19. Thanks for the updates on both Alex and Anatoly. Hopefully they will continue to be safe in these horrible times.
  20. Very cute.
  21. This plan has been mentioned by a number of people in other social media sites. I think Steve Good even mentions it. https://www.etsy.com/listing/398074303/scroll-saw-stand-woodworking-plans?ref=shop_home_active_1
  22. The missing socks become hangers
  23. Glad it is back but it does seem a little spotty. I just tried clicking back to a topic and got an Error 500. Just hit the refresh button and all was good.
  24. Nice work. If you love snow, I can ship you some. We have had the third snowiest winter now. At about 165 cm so far! March is usually where we get most of the snow, so I expect we will get even more!
  25. They don't. I have gone back to my Seyco dust collection system and put up with the sawdust on the top.
