  1. I have a Brother printer. No complaints on it. It uses a toner cartridge, so it is only black print.
  2. Great painting on those tiny birds. The houses look good too!
  3. Sorry that had happend.
  4. Don, if he doesn't want one, I'll take one!! Thanks
  5. You keep saying you can't paint. Proof is in the picture - you can and it looks great!!
  6. What a great idea. Great cutting.
  7. You could just reupholster it yourself!
  8. I took a look at Steve Good's "Happy New Year" gnome. All you would have to do would be to find a silhouette of a tree and then it should fit with the gnome. The sign is completely separate.
  9. I have been checking in most days. I have a couple of things cut but not finished so I haven't posted.
  10. Mine isn't a septic tank issue but a replacement head on the boat!
  11. I did these as a "reverse" mother's day gift for my two daughters. I figured it was time they knew the truth!! This was a couple of years ago!
  12. Great job on those. Big shout out to Don!! He has been helpful on a few things for me as well.
  13. Beautiful work Dave. Like Ralph, I would love to get lessons from you!
  14. Just do a search for one. I am sure you will get lots of hits!
  15. The colour really pops!
  16. You are truly blessed to share time with your granddaughter. She did an awesome job. Just waiting a few more years to hopefully have my grandson in the shop. He is only 4 right now.
  17. FYI - Ultimately it doesn't matter for this particular project as it will be painted. Making Iggy's shelves for the puzzles to stand on. I just thought it was an interesting contrast in wood and hadn't really seen that blonde of poplar.
  18. Maybe I should run back to grab some more. They had a fair bit in the 1/4" x 4x6'. The thicker boards were the "green" colours.
  19. I was at a local big box store today to buy some wood. Wanted 1/4" poplar for a project. The piece on the left is some leftover, or not yet used, from 2 years ago. The piece on the right was purchased today. It was labeled as poplar. Regardless of what it is, it was purchased to use for the intended project. Just thought the difference is looks was quite dramatic. Other larger Poplar boards had the more familiar look like the piece on the left.
  20. Happy Birthday Barbara! Enjoy the new saw, but don't let the old one get jealous!!! Barb(ara)
  21. I run a Chrome book and it took awhile for me to figure it out. I have to download it first and then go into the downloads and it, somehow, magically plays!!!
  22. Frank, there is a hint of grain in the top right hand corner. I suspect it is bb ply.
  23. Great cutting. Not only do I have the song running through my brain, but I now have tears leaking out of my eyes. This was one of my dad's favourite songs and was played at his funeral. Most recently, my sister used it as the song to dance with her son at his wedding.
  24. Where do you buy the pre-manufactured framing material?
