  1. If you haven't given it out yet, you could sponge over what you have done.
  2. Looks good. A quick painting tip for the calico - use a small sponge to dab the paint on. That way you get a "blurred" line between the colours. I did this tree puzzle with sponge painting.
  3. Great job on the framing and backer.
  4. Great work. I like the addition of the twigs. Alas, my magazine was not waiting for me when I got home from holidays.
  5. Dick, The painting is great. You are too hard on yourself (though we all are that way). That is some great clean cutting on the letters. Well done!
  6. If that is "butchery" then I should give up!!! Great job.
  7. Beautiful cutting. You certainly captured his eyes!
  8. Those look great!
  9. They all look great.
  10. I am with the majority - painted.
  11. The blue colour is kinda like that "dress" from a few years back. Some saw blue and other saw gold.
  12. Great job. Love the framing/backer
  13. Great idea.
  14. Thanks. That is a Steve Good pattern. https://www.stevedgood.com/winetopper.pdf
  15. Another perfect job Frank.
  16. Me too!
  17. The ribbon tree is from Dirk Boelman at The Art Factory. His widow was still selling them a few years ago. Not sure if they are still available. If they are not, then the question becomes "Can they be shared?" and back to that whole copyright question that was thoroughly discussed in an earlier thread.
  18. It is just some plywood I got from a friend. He does "big" stuff and this is from a kitchen cabinet he was making. Thankfully there weren't many voids in the wood.
  19. Another cutie!
  20. Thanks. That is a Steve Good pattern.
  21. Just to prove that I am doing other things than Wordle. Getting ready for a November craft sale. Also just signed up for another one in December. The forest of trees still needs it's Tung Oil bath! I have a bunch of other items ready to cut as well.
  22. On one of the Facebook groups I belong to, the gal uses the sample sizes of Behr paints and thins it. I have used the Unicorn Spit in it, also thinned.
  23. I got an airbrush for Christmas last year. I have used it a few times. If using the gravity cup, it does take a lot of time to clean between colours. It also came with the other style. Still don't use it much because it just seems like such a "production" to set everything up. I think I just need to get a better setup in the shop for it.
  24. Very cute. Another fabulous paint job.
