  1. Thanks for the video. Very informative.
  2. I am starting to look at upgrading some stuff in the shop. At this point I use a box fan with a filter taped in front as air filtration. I use my shop vac to suck up the sawdust after I cut. If you could only purchase 1 item, which would it be. I am looking at the WEN air filter system that Steve Good has reviewed. Or I am looking at a cyclone dust collection system at the saw. I have been looking at a DIY system, but want something much quieter than my shop vac! Any thoughts on using an older house vacuum and something smaller than a 5 gallon bucket to build a cyclone dust collector! I don`t mind emptying the bucket more frequently!
  3. Nice to hear that the blades were shipped in an envelope. How many blades did you order? I had ordered a couple of dozen blades from a supplier and they were shipped in a box. When I phoned to comment on that and asked why the didn`t ship in an envelope, they said I didn`t know anything about shipping and that this was how it had to be shipped. I know that Mike sent the sample pack in a padded envelope through regular mail, much more reasonable shipping!
  4. I do them mid week so that during the summer months when I am at the boat, the clock doesn't stop!!!
  5. Some Christmas gifts done! Tool box for my grandson. The napkin rings for my neighbour.
  6. The toy cars are for my grandson and the ornaments are for my nieces and nephews
  7. Well that was way more challenging that I like!! I had inkscape installed already. Had to open it first and import it that way. Thanks for your help!!
  8. Travis, I seem to get everything except the patterns. I got the different dollar amounts, the instructions and the "custom pattern by" svg.
  9. Ordered and paid through Paypal on November 29th but haven't received notice that I have received the download. What do I do?? I have checked my spam folder - not there.
  10. It was a split decision in our house. Normally I am an all natural gal, but I like the painted one. The dragon flies stand out. Hubby preferred the natural wood.
  11. Thanks Travis, Will grab it tonight. I always give my nieces & nephews an ornament for Christmas, but don't have 5 to order from Steve. Looking forward to this for next year!!
  12. Boating season has been over for a couple of months!! Actually got our old one sold and now spending time looking for a new(er) one!
  13. Good Luck. Mine is today as well!
  14. Is that a lesson learned from experience???
  15. Here is my set up for tomorrow's craft sale. Will follow up after the sale!
  16. It was featured in the Scroll Saw magazine a couple of issues ago and I thought that I would have had to order from the states - hate the exchange rate & shipping cost. Was beyond exicted when I found it locally.
  17. Jim, I didn't measure, but it was quite thin. Probably about 50%.
  18. Finishing up items for my craft sale on Saturday. Was very excited to find a local supplier of Unicorn Spit stain. Love the colours and ease of application.
  19. Beautiful work!
  20. Congrats on your sale! My first one is this Saturday, busy getting everything done!
  21. Beautiful work. Just watched your video and got a great idea from it. Wearing the cotton gloves while wiping the stain off - brilliant!! Are you willing to share/sell the pattern??
  22. I purchased one of the science fair poster board thingys! It is three sided and I sit it atop a piece of cardboard. I make sure the exhaust fan in the adjoining bathroom is running. That's about it.
  23. I have been using the Pegas 2/0 blades from Bear Woods for jigsaw puzzles
