  1. I use a plastic pill bottle under my arm as a lift. Also made a small hole in the top for a string that is attached to the saw so when I drop it I'm not chasing it around the shop floor.
  2. Great job of cutting. I see one happy granddaughter in your future. My grands have me figured out also, as the requests keep coming.
  3. Great job, came out well. Can't wait to see the next one.
  4. Nice job, I also cut this one and love the way it turned out. Stack cutting is the way to go when you are making that many cuts you might as well make it worth while. Again nice job
  5. Thanks for the tip Larry. Had never heard this before, always something new to learn.
  6. Nice job on the lab. I like the pattern
  7. Paul the jewel cabinet pattern #081 is the one I chose for my 1st try at a box. Think I'll do it in walnut with either maple or cherry for the accent pieces. Mike
  8. Nice box Paul. I just received a pattern from Pedro and am pleased with it and the quick service will order from him again.
  9. Great looking box Paul. Just got a pattern from Pedro myself and was very pleased with it and the fast service.
  10. Copy away Paul. Glad you liked mine enough to do it. I like it in the cherry and the 1/2 " gives it some depth the 1/8 didn't. Great job. Mike I'm up north at the cabin for the summer and miss my saw, have a dr. app. in a week may bring my saw back when I come. Until then I'll keep an eye on you guys and I may find something I like to copy too.
  11. Hope you managed to save it. I also have done the same goof ups.
  12. Beautiful garden Roly. When do you find time to scroll with all that garden to keep up? I too like the sign. Mike
  13. Well said Paul. Those straight line cuts are killers. My hat off also to the word art folks.
  14. I have also found Sheila a great person to deal with. Quick replies and service with the patterns. A refreshing combo in this day and age. She will always have my business on any product of hers I can use. Mike
  15. Wonderful job Kris. Looks like you have it mastered. Really like the young lady, you did a nice job on the eyes.
  16. Great job Paul, its very well done and I'm sure a challenge for a spiral blade man. Guess we should all practice with the other blades as some projects just need that different touch.
  17. Well done you hit it spot on. Great pattern.
  18. Nice job Dan, looks good.
  19. Just finished this Mike Williams pattern and will be giving it to my buddy as a cabin warming gift. Should be nice on the wall at the lake. Mike
  20. Got the pattern from Wooden Teddy Bear, believe its one of Sue Meys. That will be the last time I stack cut 6 fragile ones at a time it was slow going. Heard back from 4 of the girls and it a split so far 2 backers and 2 frames.
  21. I have a problem. 4 daughters and 2 daughter-in -laws, that understand the concept of stack cutting, so when I make for one I had better stack cut six or I'm in trouble. Spring is here and its time for welcome signs for all. Just waiting for replies on weather they want them on backer boards or in a frame. Glad to have my saw back as it was down for a while for repairs. Mike
  22. Beautiful job. Looks great.
  23. Beautiful job Paul I like it. Being solid wood the routing on the outside makes a nice frame. Heritage Wood Specialties has nice wood blanks, may have to give this a try.
  24. I like Paul use spray adhesive and poster board. No problems so far. Mike
  25. Well done Paul. Doesn't look like much practice will be needed. Mike
