  1. NEAT!
  2. Having seen Barb J. Enders very well done double sided tree puzzle gave me the idea to do this! So " Thanks Barb." Meanwhile back to the subject; I have a craft show coming up and a few of the things I make can be put on pegboard for the best display. So I decided that vertical room is free, I might as well make a way to use it. The farm boy was showing through again, and the show has a "rural'" theme and setting-- so do a barn. Lettering and some of the trim cuts are scrollsaw work. Most of the barns that I have ever seen were either red with white trim or white with black trim. Well the Double tree was the inspiration for this. It is 28+ inches tall and 36" wide folded to the open position. The trim is all real wood-1 x 2 cut with a slot for the pegboard insert. The lettering is just plywood 1/4 inch scrap that was lying in the shop. The font was just some rjR and T & E designs again. The piano hinge was tricky and I may even end up changing it after the show, if it does not work the way I want. One picture includes some of the items that I am getting ready for the show.
  3. AMAZING CUTTING too!
  4. I do like things mad without patterns. Very neat work!
  5. Well done project.
  6. Ah-- The sailor CLAN! Nicely done! Good luck on the new job! At least it is not going to be a full-rotating schedule. That one is a killer. Hopefully you get a month on one shift and then a month on the next etc. Not a weekly change!
  7. Very neat, I like the variances in the lettering.
  8. A nice tree and a VERY unique trick too! Good Work on both parts.

  15. Neat work. Messy shops are BUSY shops!
  16. Made from 1/4" plywood and some shop scrap--cedar I think, fence rescued for sure. About 8 inches tall and 11 inches long. Pattern supplied by Birchbark, slightly modified by rjR. The Tractor is a "Friday" Brand and very rare. The customer has seen a picture of it and loved it. So, I dared to then post it here. Background has a very slight torching added. Coated with a quick coat of spray poly. When I cut things like this I always try to make a template at the same time. I stacked 3; with the template and the P-C saw did excellently!

If you look at this and do not SMILE--there is something wrong with you; or you are alliterate! Very neat.
  18. A.K. has a good idea--Make 2 at a time with one light colored wood and the other dark, stack cut and reverse the inserts. Would add a nice effect. Plus you would have 2 to give away- sell- trade or Do a double take display with.
