  5. I do not want to make toys because I don't want to compete with the toy makers I know, but this one I would make an exception! You did a marvelous job Dan. You have every right to be proud!

  7. Great looking piece Dan!
  8. Another classic. I would love to own one! And another great project Edward!
  9. I agree with Scott above. Cutting puzzles freehand is easier, and uses less waste and time. My icon is a picture of my first ever jigsaw puzzle. I started with a piece of waste 1/4" Baltic birch plywood. I practiced cutting puzzle pieces, and after about ten or twelve pieces, I felt I was ready to cut my puzzle.
  10. Nice work Denny!
  11. Nice looking project. What wood did you use?

    Hello

    Welcome to the Village Marty.
  13. Hey Steve, welcome to the village! I was born and raised in Riverside, now living in Moorpark in Ventura County. A good used DeWalt 788 should go for around $250 and a good used EX 21 should go for around $500. You need to haggle the price. Scrolling is a great hobby to get into. Everyone here will tell you it's relaxing and addictive! So come on in and join the fun!
  14. Very cool looking sign Tim!

  20. Welcome to the Village Tabby! Hopefully we can help you progress through this fun hobby, so come on in and join the fun!

    Nice work Peter!
  22. I'm lazy too, but I hate sanding! The remedy? Practice cutting straight lines, and cut it right the first time!
  23. Nice work Steve! I have made several and always sell at least one a year. I'll be making two this year. I sell them for $55.
