  4. Sorry to hear that Dan. You know the old saying....been there, done that, have worn out the tee shirt.
  5. What Katie said is correct. But puzzle pieces are small and not likely to warp. The bottom line....if you are concerned, finish the back!

  7. Those are some very nice toys Ron, great work! Any finish sold in North America is non toxic once cured, as long as it is designed as a finish. Products like orange oil and lemon oil are designed as cleaners and polishes and may contain toxic ingredients. If I was finishing those great toys, I would soak them in a 50/50 mixture of boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits. Wipe them off with a clean soft cloth, then let them dry for twenty four to thirty six hours. Then topcoat them with Deft semi gloss spray lacquer. Again, once fully cured, the finish will be no toxic. P.S. Happy New Year to you too!
  8. That came out beautifully Dick!

  20. Great cutting Dan. I think the 1/4" looks better, but there is nothing wrong with 1/8" either. Next time you are in a hurry, try rattle can lacquer. You can get two or three coats in an evening.
  21. I hope you at least had a deposit on them.
