  2. Hey Ray, I know this isn't exactly what you were looking for but maybe you could get some ideas. I designed and built this stand for my shop. It is three leg design with leg cut outs. Very comfortable to work off. I can roll it where ever I want and just lock the wheels. Some times when the weather is sunny, and warm I roll the saw out on to the deck and saw outside. Very rewarding. Take a look. You might get a few ideas for your situtation. Later Jamminjack

  4. I agree. On all the saws I have owned The first thing I do is to install a aquairium air pump. They are so much stronger that the bellows that come with the scroll saws. Talk about clearing the saw dust! Plus no more proplems with split rubber bellows. Works for me Later Jamminjack

  8. 3/8 makes for a little more hefter box. Especially if you want to put a sliding top on the box. (allows more recess in the side panels.) Thats just my two cents worth. I am sure what ever you tackle it will be outstanding. Later Jamminjack

  16. Hey there Kevin Nice signs. You did a very nice job. Sorry to here about your problems with the car.... Reminds me of a car I used to own. It was a pretty rare car . 17. If cutting baltic birch plywood I use blue tape top and bottom, 3M spray pattern on , and then clear tape over pattern on top. Might seem like a little over kill, however when finished cutting, peel tape , pattern off alltogether. Really helps with the lubercating of reverse blades, and cuts down trementiously on sanding. Nice clean cuts top and bottom. Works for me
  18. Wow what an amazing wife!!!! You are a lucky guy. I would like to ask my wife if it would ok to up-grade to a new saw. But she is still in training for her upcoming cage fight. (not a good time) Once again I am so glad she doesn't read this forum. Gotta love her. Later Jamminjack

  21. Welcome, from the Blue Ridge Mts of Virginia. That's nice that you and your husband have similar interests. My wife started coming out to the shop to see what its all about. I noticed she took a interest is sharping tools I had to put a stop to that. Not easy scrolling with one eye on the work and the other looking over your sholder..... I am sure you and your husband will find a home here. There are a great bunch of caring and sincere people who reside here. Also a few on the witness protection program. (I am not supposed to talk about that) Have a great day Jamminjack
