  2. Olsen blades are not oil treated. Have never had a slipping problem with them.

As several have mentioned find a high school or trade school that has a wood shop they will usually do it for free, I that is not available look for a woodcraft store they will do it for a charge. DO NOT TRY IT WITH A ELECTRIC HAND PLANE. You will regret that decision. The hand plane is great if you need to shave the side of a board but it don't do thickness well.

  12. Looks like all the bases have been covered here. I will add that I have been scrolling for 16 years on and off and I still break blades. Buy some good blades Olsen Flying Dutchman or Pegasus and give it a try. Good luck the saw dust is addictive.

  15. I have an old Delta with the quick clamp and it holds the Olsen spirals no problem.
  16. Randy for the 6" parts try a Ferguson plumbing supply. I think they come down close to you.
