  1. Denny, they came out good. I did about 40 of them but none standing. Don and Tim, give them a try. I felt the same way when I first started cutting them but it's easier that you think. Just take your time and like Denny said, tape the side you cut before you cut the other side.
  2. Came out great.
  3. Nice job Rob.
  4. Nice job Kevin. Looks like a pretty big piece.
  5. WoW Dave, that came out great. How did you get that star to fit so tight. Just awesome.
  6. 'm with John. I had a little wobble but fixed it. You have to make sure your blade is straight. I have a small 3/4 piece of wood with a straight line on it and I line it up with the back of the blade to see if the blade is straight with the line on the wood. Next, make sure the blade is tight enough and not slipping once you start sawing. Slow down cutting especially around corners.Good luck Dennis. I love the last cross you did. I might do that one.
  7. Nice work on everything. Love your quick setup. What size blade are you using those puzzles.
  8. Dave, I got my test tubes at Amazon. Joe, that came out great. I'll have to check out Woodcraft for some of that Padauk. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Dave, I love that. I have a twin brother who's a big Red Sox fan and I'm a Yankee fan. Is there any way you could make a pattern that says Brothers divided with the Yankees and Red Sox. Thanks Ralph.
  10. Nice job Kevin. I knew you would get to those sooner or later. I made about 40 of them. Sold about 15 for $10.00 each. Gave 23 away to my kindergarten kids on the last day of school. Keven, a little trick on cutting the birds. I put a whole sheet of birds on the board which was about 8 of them and then cut them all at once. I started at the top of the board and cut all the way down on one side of the board and then back up the other side. Then I flipped the pattern over and clamped two thin pieces of wood on the cut side so the birds wouldn't fall out and cut the other side of the pattern. Take the clamps off and 8 birds fall out. I used a #5 blade. Good luck. Hope this makes sense. I also painted some of the one's that have a roof on them and left the bottom plain and then dipped them in a can of poly. Maybe 3 coats. I put a long paper clip on the eye to hang them.
  11. Kevin, I like your name signs with all the glitter. I hate using glitter. It gets all over the place. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.
  12. That is one of the best pieces I've seen. I would love to do something like that but I wouldn't know where to start. I love the colors. Thanks for sharing that with us.
  13. Great color choice for the backer. Really finishes it off. Great job.

    Not lazy

Love the old wood. If you do put plants, I would put some kind of liner in it so the wood don;t rot.
  20. That's a nice piece of cedar Kevin. Your friend should like that.
  21. Great job on cutting that piece. I see a lot of cutting there and a lot of delicate sections. Well done.
  22. Charley, I got 3 casters on the bottom and they all lock.
  23. Thanks Ron. I think the top drawer will hole a few cold one's once I put them together. maybe tomorrow. Shouldn't take to lone. Pieces are already cut. Just have to glue and screw.
  24. Great job Loren and congrats on the new addition. That's a great idea with the ultra sound. Is that your own pattern. I wish I had seen that sooner, i could of done something like that for my Granddaughter.
