You are the man Iggy. I guess practice makes perfect. I never did time myself on cutting them. I have one to cut. Maybe i'll time it just to see. I do them for the fun of it. Usually give them away.
Just finished these two pieces today. Just waiting for the clock inserts to come in before I drill the center hole. Kevin had made one of these and I liked it so I decided to make a couple. I was able to stack cut these out of 1/2 inch Oak with a 1/8 backer painted red and green. Used a #3 UR blade on this. I'll probably keep one and give one as a gift.
That came out good even though it took you half a day. LOL. Don't feel bad. No one cuts as fast as Iggy. As long as you had fun cutting it. Sometimes I have trouble with the shelf liner paper lifting but all I do is put a piece of scotch tape over the part that's lifting and off I go.
Hi Kevin, how you doing. Have a question for you on the prayer clock you did. I'm going to try and make that but not sure what size clock insert I would need. I'm using 1/4 with a 1/8 backer which totals 3/8. Should I use a 1/2 inch insert. Thanks.
