  12. I own the Porter Cable and I really enjoy it. This is the first scroll saw I have owned. I have had this since December of 2015 To me it is not to loud, the vibration can be annoying depending on the speed. Changing the blades could be easier but like I said this is my first scroll saw so I have nothing to compare to, I do own other Porter Cable tools and am happy with them which helped in my choice plus I didn't want to lay out $600 to $1400 for a first time saw. Now that I have come to enjoy scroll saw work I am looking at upgrading not sure to what yet. You might want to check out the saw reviews here on SSV. Mark
  13. Good afternoon. So the process would be 1) put clear shelf liner on the wood 2) spray adhesive to pattern 3) attach pattern to shelf liner Would that be the correct process? As of now I am using packing tape then spray the pattern and attach it. Pain with larger patterns and sometimes very difficult to see all the small pieces of tape. Thanks Mark

  17. So sorry for your woes. I am looking forward to Bushton response as the Hawk is on my list along with Hegner. The saw should be ready out of the box and should be protected in the crate to prevent damage. There customer service response to you Sir may have an impact on my list. Best of luck
