  10. I decided and went with Flying Dutchman after all the good things I read about them. Ordered 14 dozen of various size's and only paid $40.80 which includes shipping. Breaks down to about .42¢ each Thanks for all the input. Mark
  11. Thank you for all the feedback. Wonderful responses. Any time I can get 16 doz blades online for $44.60 s&h included as opposed to 10doz at the local store for $42.90 tax not included I will support the true scroll company.
  12. Just wondering why such a variance in blade cost? Vendor A $2.35 B $2.50 C $5.50 and all kinds of other cost. All the same quanity, brand (Olson) and size. Would you spend more to support local encomony or go with the lower cost online.

  16. As far as cheaper a dozen Olson blades at the local Woodcrafters goes for $5.00 while the Pegas can be had for $3.60 a dozen each same size.
  17. Has anyone tried or use the Pegas brand of blades? If so you honest thoughts. They are less inexpensive (cheaper) than Olson or Flying Dutchman but there again a stamped blade is a stamped blade is it not? Mark

  24. Hi My name is Mark and I am new to scroll sawing but no stranger to wood working. I have wanted a scroll saw for a long time and my wife got me an early Christmas present a Porter Cable 18" saw. I have other Porter Cable tools and I am very pleased with them. I look forward to learning from the wealth of knowledge that is here. Thank you for inviting me in Mark
