  1. Just finished making Steve's Alphabet puzzle for my daughter. It's for the kids at a pre-school she runs, it still needs finishing and painting but one of the other staff does all that with child safe paints. Hope you like it. Keefie

I recently asked for a cartoon type pattern of a dentist and Grampa (Paul) kindly came up with a pattern for me. here it is finished. - Thanks Paul. Keefie
  3. Very nice Roly, my grandkids would want a motor fitting so they could get to the jelly beans quicker lol
  4. Very nice cutting Paul. There is no pleasing some people - especially customers.
  5. That's beautiful work, all the more impressive because you cut it with spirals. I do like that pattern, where did you get it from?

  13. They are both outstanding pieces of work DW, but I really like the elephant puzzle, is it your own design?

  15. Just finished Cutting this night light, it's only put together for the picture as it still needs to be sanded and finished. It is all cut from 4mm Baltic Birch Plywood. The only problem is it's not a freestanding one it's designed to hang from the ceiling but I need to modify it somehow to make it a free standing one - I'm open to suggestions for that!!! Keefie
  16. excellent wotk there , great pattern too.
  17. That is excellent, a great idea to get away from the standard cribbage boards and very nice cutting too. Pattern is also very nice.
  18. Hey Marg, don't let anyone upset you, all of us here in the forum know how good it is and how good the pattern is too, if the customer comes round again tell her I'll make her a white stick and some dark glasses - as she must need them Keefie
  19. That is a fantastic piece of work there Kevin, very nice cutting and a great pattern too.
  20. That's beautiful work there, love the colour of the wood.
  21. Awesome work there - great pattern too.
  22. I too know your pain, my leg gave way while working on the bandsaw. I was lucky though, just skinned a few fingers and cut through the nail on the little finger. This picture was taken 4 days after the accident
  23. Hi all, I'm making a set of butterfly coasters for my daughter, what is the best finish to put on them so the hot cups won't mark them?
  24. As Roly said, whatever works is right fot you. I personally have the table flat and use an adjustable stool to set my height to what's comfortable. I'm also a top feeder with my EX21, I find it so easy to release the tension lever then undo the bottom clamp and just lift the top arm and blade out of the wood. I support the arm as I lower/guide the blade into the next hole. It didn't take much practise to be able to reclamp the blade in the bottom clamp without bending down to look at it, I do it all by feel now and I can change holes in about 10 - 15 seconds.
  25. That is a great idea, and nicely made too. I have made a freestanding one to hold a single bottle just using the bottles weight as a counterbalance, but I never gave it a thought of making something like that. Great idea and well made too. (thanks for my copy of the plan)
