  1. Hi Fay, welcome to the village, I'm Keith from Cornwall U.K. After reading the description of your work so far, I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures. Lastly, everyone is welcome here, I don't think you could ask for a better group of people than we have here - it's my second "family" they give everyone a fantastic welcome (they even gave me a great welcome which shows they'll let anyone in LOL) Seroiusly though, this is one great bunch of guys and gals. Keefie.
  2. Hi Frannie, welcome to the village. I'm Keith from Cornwall U.K.
  3. I had an order for Mr Grumpy. I found a royalty free kids colouring picture which was free to download, then our very nice pattern makers turned it into a cuttable pattern for me and here is the finished Item - took me a while as I have been unable to get in workshop due to operation on knee. But I finally got it finished. As usual all comments welcomed Keefie.

  10. Hi Paul, welcome to the Village, I must admit that was one of the shortest introductions I have read here, once you get to know us all here you will find you lose the initial shyness. This is a fantastic "family" here and everyone is willing to share their knowledge freely. Any questions, just post them and someone will have the answer. Remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question. Keefie.
  11. Hi Lorn, welcome to the Village, glad you are getting over your "scrollsaw withdrawal symptoms" - it's one of the worst things you can suffer from. Keefie DonR, you will have to repost that picture in the Scrollsaw Workshop Community forum after changing the title to "The Scotsmans Creed" and say it's especially for Rob Roy - it describes him perfectly. lol.
  12. on my old saw I used 0000grade steel wool and johnstons paste wax, it took it straight off and when buffed afterwards, it had done the two jobs in one - cleaned the rust and polished the table. Keefie.
  13. I'm a total newbie - this December will see me scrolling fairly seriously for two years, I have done 1 serious project (a miniature grandfather clock) previously a long time ago with a basic saw and pinned blades. That saw very nearly stopped me ever starting up again lol Keefie.
  14. I like it, sometimes the simpler patterns can be better than a more complicated one, I think you got this one just right. Keefie
  15. glad your sales went well. Keefie

  18. What a great idea, my spraying is done with shed doors and windows open and wearing a mask, then go for a coffee while it's drying lol.
