Brian, I have two more marked out in polycarbonate (same as acrylic but much stronger) all ready to be cut, I just need to find out which blades are best to cut polycarbonate with. The birch ply one I just finished was the first project I have ever cut totally using spiral blades - which is another reason it took me so long. Keefie

Mahendra, it took me just over 4 weeks to finish, but that was because of the operation on my knee stopping me being out there for more than about 40 minutes at a time. Hopefully the next one will be quicker. Keefie.

Well I've finally got my Victorian clock finished. It is made from birch ply (4mm) and the front section was darkened with wire wool/vinegar stain then three coats of lacquer. As usual all comments welcome. Keefie

very nice bit of cutting there Kevin they will love it. My opinion would be to go for a darker backer rather than a lighter one, I personally think it makes the pattern stand out more. And welcome back to the village, you were missed. Keefie
