    CD Rack

Thats a great looking CD rack, is it your own design?
  8. No, I cheated, they sell them in Wilkinsons for £1.89 each - cheaper than I could make them for.
  9. Hi Kevin, I get mine from Mark Raby. He is a finishing demonstrator and I bought a load of cans from him at a demonstration. I don't know where his supplier is and I haven't seen the cans sold in our local shops, but his email address is [email protected] drop him an email and he might be able to tell you where you can get it over the other side of the big pond. Keith.
  10. Well I just finished my Harry Potter portrait. It is made from 4mm Birch Ply and finished in BLO/Thinners then a coat of Lacquer. It's a new can of lacquer in a High Velocity Low Pressure can with an adjustable spray pattern to the nozzle. The Hvlp means I get more spray on the project with less overspray, and I'm finding it only needs 1 coat instead of 2 or 3 from the old cans so it lasts a lot longer. Keefie

  24. Well I got them finished, the sanding was easy as I kept the large offcut from around the edge of the wolf then inserted it back in place to sand it, that way the wolf was supported and made the sanding a lot easier. They are made from 4mm ply and finished in BLO/thinners, then two coats of lacquer. As always comments and opinions are always welcomed. Keefie.
  25. Brian, I agree with you I think a larger insert would look better, but that said it's still a fantastic looking clock even with the smaller insert. Either way she will love it.
