  13. Some Irish friends of mine are setting up a new non profit support group based in Chicago, the emblem they are going to use for their group is the Claddagh Ring. I will donate a plaque to them with their emblem on it. I cant give credit for the main part of the pattern as there is no name on the pattern, but I modified it slightly and added the words. Hope you like it. Keith.

  16. That looks excellent, she will love it.
  17. Thats a great looking piece Richie, the blue clock face works well with the colour of Yew. I just spent 3 months looking for some planks of Yew 2" thick, It's hard to find any that hasn't got loads of bark inclusion, holes or little cracks all over it.

Never argue with a woman - but in this one occasion I have to agree with her, it does look nice just as an art piece.
  19. very nice work. As Pete said, it's not easy to cut a round circle, but you managed it perfectly.

  21. great cutting there, he will love it.

  25. I cut this photo frame today for my son in law (the picture I slipped in it is of his dad and 2 of my grandkids) it's still only bare wood and not yet sanded but I slotted it together to see what it looked like. His dad passed away 5 years ago and he still misses him, so I thought this would be a nice present to help him remember the good times. Keefie.
