  5. I definately prefer the colour variations, I think they might sell for more than the plain ones. (but I wouldn't be greedy I would just sell then all at your normal price.) But they do look fantastic

  9. Kevin, I'm not sure if the dust is harmful or not, but when cutting it I always wear a mask as I don't like breathing in any fine dust. Better to be safe than sorry!! .

  11. Corian also makes very nice pens for those of us who do a little wood turning as well
  12. I just went to a Kitchen fitter's and asked for the offcuts and got 2 big bags of it free, he was only too pleased to get rid of it.
  13. I cut it with a No1 Flying Dutchman "Polar" blade. You have to cut it on a slow speed (about half speed) and let the blade do the cutting. if you try to cut too fast the blade heats up and it melts/welds the corrian behind the blade so you end up cutting it all over again. (which happened to me a few times cutting this lol)
  14. very nice cutting , hope all goes well with your sister.
  15. beautiful work there Kris, on both the pattern and the cutting. You captured the plane perfectly in your pattern.
  16. Very nice cutting there, love the knot in the background as it sets the piece of nicely.
  17. I cut this to order, she wanted a cross with dad in it. I cant remember where I got the pattern the pattern from( I think it might have been our pattern library here) but I altered it from a cut out circle in the middle to DAD in the middle. It's cut from 1/2" thick Corrian (used in kitchen worktops) it is a dark grey marble effect. After cutting I didn't need to sand it at all but I did polish it with "T Cut" car paint colour restorer which gave it a nice sheen without being too highly polished. I hope you like it, as usual all comments and criticisms gratefully received. Keith.
