Today I taught my daughter how to use my scroll ... Since the new Feinschnitt magazine included a pattern for a dinosaur landscape, she really wanted that for her sons. I told her to do it herself.... Big mistake: so now I am going to have to compete using my machine, I bet! Here are her first attempts.

Purple Heart Bowl... Took a while. Despaired while sanding... quite a learning curve. Know what I would do differently next time. Not sure there will be a next time.

This looks fantastic. Also love the wood color and the directionality of the grain! Fabulous!

Love the flowers, but I am not a fan of the background. It is almost blinding, if you don't mind my saying so. Personally, I prefer to let the wood shine, rather than the background. No hard feelings I hope? I truly love the roses!
