    thanks guys. It is unfinished at this point. I like the wood to talk - my daughter thinks maybe paint it. I think that would be a pity. So we wait and see who prevails.

    a little project to occupy the mind. When I got to the letters, they were too close and it did not work out, especially for the "a"s. Anyway. It'll do..., I guess.

    I brush them with mineral oil and a paint brush. works like a charm
