  3. I get my pegas from http://www.scrollsawbladespatterns.com/PegasModifiedGeometry.htm I got my delivery today, after they had a supply issue which apparently has been resolved. $3.10 is a great price. I buy a gross of the #5 usually.

  9. What do you guy use do protect your hands/fingers when sanding intarsia pieces? I have yet to find the right thing. At minimum, I scrape a knuckle and break fingernails every time Suggestions?
  10. I dont know any turners and my daughter is flying back to Germany tomorrow, taking it with her. So we will figure something out, today. Thank you for the idea, though.
  11. purple heart. So tell me why with this hard hard wood, the angel broke off, while I was still cutting that curve at the bottom right, just from the vibration. I glued it back on, and hope it will keep now. Still need to find knobs - that match.

  19. They were boards that came in that thickness - bought at the hardwood store. I like the thickness, but one could do thinner, if one preferred.
  20. Thanks all - it was a fun project, a fast project and because of the sizing it made an high-impact gift. The recipients loved it.
  21. 3/4" cherry only mineral oil, because if will be used with food items - you can also use butcher block oil
  22. 4 little ones, or 1 big one, or two oblong ones use a trivet - or hold one and hang your glass of wine into it, while you pile you food on top 16 x 16"
  23. Hope you are using a mask scrolling MDF, cause that stuff is nothing but bad for your lungs!
  24. I just got the ultra reverse, after using Pegas Modified #5 forever. I will go back to the Pegas - much better with hard and thick wood.
