Great looking projects, Paul. When something is hard to clamp, I use both Titebond and CA with the accelerator. Holds instantly.

I also dip mine in Shellac diluted 50% with alcohol. After drying, light sanding with a Mac Mop and then another dip.

I have the Seyco and have had it for maybe 8 years with no problems. I like that is on a stand. -
Looks like you got a lot of good advise. I agree with most, I can't remember using a #2/0 blade. My got to blades for 1/4" is MGT #1 or #3 if the wood is hard.

Good question! I did the glue up and perimeter cutting at the home shop. No Pegas blades at the shop, only at ArtCrafters.

Two projects completed Monday, December 9th. The pattern is by Keith Fenton and purchased from Sheila Landry's website some time ago. One is made from 1/2" Hard Maple and the other 1/2" Cherry backed with 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood stained black. Both are 8" x 12". I used the new Pegas Scroll Saw at ArtCrafters with Pegas #3 MGT blades on all interior cuts and FD Polar #5 blades on the perimeter. The finish is two coats spray Shellac. Comments welcome,
