I saw that pattern in SWWC. I really like the contrast with the white. I may try that and stain white with Samen stain.

I finished this project this weekend. The pattern is by Jacob Fowler and found in the new book, Woodworker's Pattern Book. The upright is 1/2" Ash and the base is 3/4" Walnut. It stands 10 1/2" high. I used FD UR #1 and #3 blades. The finish is spray Shellac. Comments welcome.

I finished these this weekend. The patterns are by Sue Mey and found in SWWC Winter 2017 issue #69. I used Eastern White Cedar which I think is too soft. I cut them on the DeWalt 788 and used FD Polar #9 blades. The finish is spray Shellac. Comments welcome.
